Update just now. Great signal, Touch ID works fine. Mexico, Telcel and Iusacell...

Carrier Update

I saw two carrier updates after installing 8.0 on my 5 and 5s devices. Something tells me this requires a carrier update too, and the carriers are asleep at the wheel (like normal....)

LOL! Do I have to read this exactly after I hit the update button. Crap. No service now. I dont give a crap about touch id.

CRAP! I am in the middle of downloading the update on my phone and now I see this!!

CAN I STOP THE UPDATE??????

:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

It should ask if you want to apply now or later after the download completes say NO, go to settings>usage and delete the update.

Yup, getting the same issues as everyone else, just an endless "Searching..." and even Touch ID isn't working anymore.

Hopefully we'll see a quick fix to this as I can live with Touch ID not working temporarily but lack of phone use will prove to be challenging.

EDIT: To clarify, my phone is an iPhone 6 Plus with AT&T.

Update: It appears that there is an issue with iOS 8.0.1 causing cellular service to be disabled. Many early installers are reporting "No Service" messages after updating. There are also reports of problems with Touch ID.

Just read this while it's updating my iPhone 6. Great.
