So much for those paid vacation days this Thanksgiving

And I updated mine and now I have NO SERVICE also Verizon.

My iPhone just restarted and same thing. Verizon as well. Thankfully I have the GM, hopefully I can put it into DFU mode and rollback. This is embarrassing for Apple.

I saw two carrier updates after installing 8.0 on my 5 and 5s devices. Something tells me this requires a carrier update too, and the carriers are asleep at the wheel (like normal....)

Care to explain the fingerprint problem then ?

It would work, but you have to put your phone in recovery mode. I usually do this after use betas to go back to previous version

Installed the update and now NO SERVICE on my AT&T cell connection, also touch ID no longer works!!!!

Same for me on a 6+ with Verizon

Yes, no change. It doesn't even say "NO SIM" when the SIM is removed (iPhone 6, AT&T).

Bought iPhone 6 64Gb outright from Apple.

iPhone 6 128GB Gold. Upgraded to 8.0.1. TouchID won't work, can't add fingerprint in Settings.

No service (UK EE 4G); expecting calls regarding job applications. Seriously Apple ?!

i really hope Apple doesn't wait a week or two to fix the TouchID and Cellular problem, i really hope they're smart and roll out an update later this afternoon or latest tomorrow because to be honest this is terrible quality control by the company and I rarely say anything bad about them

Agree. I see no reports of loss of service or touch OF breaking except for 6 and 6+

Also have no service with my 5S, touch id is also broken.
