They still haven't fixed the bug where the time and status bar appears in a photo that you are viewing inside of a text message

God please fix that huge "other" file nonsense. I've done everything for multiple restores to app cleaning cache to DFU restore and it ALWAYS comes back around 3GB.

The naysayers always tell me that it is the OS itself, and that is not true since the OS is already accounted for before the user fills up with their own data i.e. apps music and such.

Uh - what? I'm no longer a student, but I'm curious: what is this talking about?
Don't know for sure, but I'm guessing this is some way for administrators to disable web browsing, messages, locking open apps, etc... for electronic testing. (Students take a state test on an iPad for example)

If I understand you correctly, this does not occur in iOS 8.2 beta 4.

We will have to wait a few more months to get this small bug fixed then. It is irritating but understandable as there are larger problems to fix first

It would be good to know the difference in storage space now required. Perhaps someone who has a second phone could find out the difference between iOS 8.1.2 and iOS 8.1.3?

Has anybody else noticed a slight bug with iOS 8 on iPhone 6 + where when it runs out of battery and you try to power it on, the display lights up but nothing is actually displayed? Hope that is fixed also

How come I keep getting 1.90 - 2.00GB updates on my iPad Air2 and iPhone 6+ every time while most of you are in the few hundred MBs???

Anyone?

Um I think the "fix" is to plug it in and charge it. Pretty sure the problem will go away then and you will see something on the screen.

Just download 8.2 bets 4. Fixed my battery and keyboard issues on my 6+. Non developer, just download and shift click update and select 8.2 and enjoy

Learn to ignore what iTunes (Mac/PC) reports, which tends to be highly unreliable. Settings app (General | About or Usage) will report more accurate number.

Issue with the buffering status for videos in Safari not being there remains. Was really hoping that would be fixed. Here's to hoping they squash it in 8.2.
