I think the problem most people are having with the selection of the music itself on Beats 1 is it's very eclectic and not one genre. That is what I think makes this station even better.

In the first few hours alone I've discovered new music from different genres I've never heard before that is fantastic. Created a "Discovered on Beats1" playlist. Adding all new tracks found to it.

So far Zane and Julie have been a pleasure to listen to. Refreshing voices. Their voiceovers are minimal, just what you would expect from a radio DJ. I think most of the complaints in this regard (I'm going to sound old here) are millennials just not being used to terrestrial radio. I kind of feel like it's handing a 15 year old a walkman and saying enjoy!

Yeah, I am loving the music selection from Beats1. I am certainly in their demo of listeners. Good idea about this kind of Playlist. I am going to steal this idea. :)

First tiny disappointment there: It seems that a lot of music videos did not make it into Apple Music. For example Michael Jackson's "Beat It" does not appear to be on there (though some of his videos - apparently only newer ones - are in the service). I am guessing there's another whole Pandora's box of who owns the rights to the videos.

I am to assume, then, since there is nothing here nor elsewhere about Apple Music being made available to OS X users, the Music service is for iOS8 users only. Yosemite users are out of luck. Yes?
Ok, I guess it's time to close that topic: Yes, the fact that 5 hours after the release of the iOS8.4 update, Apple has not yet rolled out iTunes 12.2 implies that it will never be rolled out. Apple Music will remain exclusive to iOS users. In fact, Apple is probably going to shut down all computers running OS X remotely tomorrow, as they decided to stop supporting OS X altogether.

SCNR. Really. :)

I tried listening to Beats 1, but frankly it sucks.

Is there a way to get back the old radio stations?

Hoping the iTunes version comes out before I head to sleep. I would like to upload my music to the cloud while I am sleeping.

Can we rename these user created stations or are we stuck with <insert artist here> radio? Perhaps when the iTunes update is released?

Did anything try Siri for something like "Top 50 Charts of 1987" or something similiar? Doesn't work for me for some reason. Siri just doesn't show me the charts, like it was advertised with WWDC from Eddy Cue.

I'm hoping that with so many people asking for the iTunes version to come out that they finally realize that there are still a LOT of people more interested in the desktop stuff than they are with iOS.

I'm sure they have research about who's interested in what.
