This may have already been addressed, but Weather notifications/status does not seem to be available in the Notifications center in IOS 8.

Edit: They're showing up now after visiting the Weather app and refreshing it.

I am still at 30 hours and its been about 45 mins at this point. Does anyone else have a timeframe to compare iphone 5?

I started downloading the moment it was released, it said then 10 hours, it is now saying 5 hours remaining 8 hours later, pathetic.

Download speeds are AWFUL!

I have never experienced such a slowdown with Apple's content delivery network before. I have a 40 mbps Internet connection, but I'm only getting about 2.1 KB/sec.

Something must be wrong with connectivity from Orange County, CA to wherever their local CDN endpoint is. Even right after past iOS/Mac OS X releases I was able to download updates immensely faster -- 7 minutes vs the current 10 hours for me.

Apple's system status page says nothing about their CDN!

Should it really take me 4.5 hours to download 1.92 GB? This is ridiculous, like being on dial up modem. But coming from a company who botched up their live stream and pre-orders, I'm not surprised. I like the Cook-led Apple better than Jobs's Apple, but Jobs would have never stood for this.

After downloading for almost 4 hours it got down to 23 minutes left. Then the time bumped up to 8 hours. Just received DOWNLOAD FAILED:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

I think I'll wait for a couple of days and try again. Currently downloading the new OS X. 8 hours left. I may cancel and just wait!

GOOD GAWWWWD, same thing happened to me....GRRRRRR! LOL, oh well, life happens.

Just started updating my wife's phone, took 3-4 minutes to download, been on "Preparing Update" for the last 15 minutes.

I should have just installed GM from my computer, I think that took me 15 mins total from plugging in the phone to entering unlock code to use IOS8 on my phone.

At first could not download as it said it needed 4.6GB to install and I only had 4.3GB free.

WOW. 4.6GB? I had to delete some stuff.

It's really annoying that I can't clear out cache data, which takes up a significant part of my storage anyway.

Weird. It only took a half hour to download this morning.

I updated yesterday directly on my iPhone. Took less than an hour including download and update. iOS 8 runs very very smoothly on my 4S. I am surprised. I was completely expecting it to suck.

ive just installed ios8 on my iphone 5 and the app switcher is really buggy. after i double press on the home button the app switcher pops up for a split second and chenges back to the current screen. i have to keep doing this 2 or 3 times before app switcher stays open so i can close my apps. anyone else having this issue?

also, just realised if i have the numbers keyboard open and send a message, the keyboard does not automatically go back to the normal keyboard like it used to after i press send.
