It amazes me that after all the complaints about not being able to remove stocks, they've forced Books, Podcasts and especially TIPS on us with no option to remove

what are you talking about! if u can not upload the latest iOS8 over wifi because of storage space shortage, u still can do it using iTunes via lightening cable.
Could not update via iTunes ("server error"). When I tried my iPad's software update, I got a message stating basically that I was put in a queue and when their servers caught up, my download would start. The download began a few minutes later and took about ten minutes (though Update claimed it would take four). It's been "preparing" the update for a while now....
quick reply??? I'm on GM my dads on public release his public release does not have "reply" as an option from the lock screen when you swipe left; only the X shows up. However when his phone is not locked and he gets a message he can still swipe down on the banner for quick reply. is this on purpose---cuz w/ the GM i could still swipe left and quick reply from the lock screen so I'm confused?

It's a Mac app. You don't need a jailbreak, you don't need to set anything up.
Just plug in your iPhone and you can delete (and backup) any app on the iPhone.
Good way to delete the Stocks or Tips app and so on.
I use a iPhone5, and this new iOS feels really laggy when switchin between screens and apps, anyone else feel the same?

iPhoto is still working and will remain that way until they release a new photo app next year.
Please don't spread this crap. Research before you regurgitate.
I just tried to open iPhoto and got a popup saying it wasn't supported and to migrate all my photos to Photo.
Damn, I hate Photos. Can't make heads or tails of it. And all that WHITE!! Can't wait for the new app.

Downloading to my iPad 4 right now.
This will be my first full-version iOS upgrade. I'm excited! These things sure do take a while to download though.
On a side NOTE... I noticed my Galaxy Note 10.1 also got an udate today, to KitKat 4.4.2- on the same day iOS was upgraded. Coincidence???

Also so upset that Camera Roll is no longer a thing, I'd like one place where all my photos are there as JUST A LIST OF PHOTOS. Collections comes close but its still annoying to navigate

Also quick reply the ability to swipe left on a message alert from the lock screen is not working properly on the Public Release. Multiple users are reporting they are only seeing an "x" from the lock screen when they try to swipe left to bring up reply-------they are able to swipe down on a message banner and quick reply that way but they can't from the lock screen.
