"iOS 9.2 also includes support for AT&T's NumberSync Wi-Fi calling feature, allowing AT&T users to accept calls on any device even when their phone is not nearby."

The improved WiFi calling feature "AT&T NumberSync" only works with AT&T post-paid accounts (i.e. contract based accounts). Prepaid accounts (i.e. AT&T GoPhone accounts) are not eligible for this feature. Of course this limitation is not mentioned by anyone writing a review, and only referenced in AT&T's small print. Bought an IPhone 6 AT&T unlocked model specifically to avoid contracts. Was hoping to use my iPad Air 2 & MBP for convienent phone calls - nope, I can scratch that iOS 9.2 benefit of the list - AT&T strikes again......
That's strange because I have a contract account and it's working fine on all my devices and it setup fine and I even got the notice from ATT confirming.

The article states that it works with contract plans. NumberSync is only prevented from working on prepaid lines.

No idea what this is about, ever since the update, a little pop up appears telling me I need to enter my Apple ID password - when you click "OK" it takes you to the iCloud area in Settings.

I enter the password and it's fine. Might prompt me once again 6, 7 hours from now.

Per AT&T Customer Service (on hold for approx 20 of a 43 minute
long call while their Rep. was doing research), and their website, prepaid accounts are not eligible. Don't see a reference to contract accounts in the article, or any other article for that matter.
Buyer Beware......

I wish Apple's overnight installs actually work. Every time I get a notification about an update (yesterday morning), I choose to update overnight. I woke up this morning and it was still on 9.1. This has happened with every update since the overnight feature was released. Why even give that prompt if it's not going to happen?

Was the device plugged in at the time or perhaps at least had more than 50% (if not more) battery left? Was it connected to a network as well?

Music still stops playing when opening the camera app.

Pretty sure this is intentional. Live Pictures (and of course Videos) record Audio as well, so you don't want to have music playing at the same time..

Happy with the upgrade so far. My iP6s+ feels smoother (especially when using 3rd party keyboards) and the automatic screen rotation function seems to work better, too.

Then why did you switch from the Nexus 5 if it ran so much better than the 6+? You could have easily gotten the battery replaced if it was dying on you, much better than sticking with a phone that doesn't work for you.

You asked, "Why did you switch from nexus5 to iphone 6+"

Why does anyone switch? Most likely to upgrade, the prospect of a better user experience, greater functionality etc..

Perharps he fancied a change. He spent a lot of money and wanted it to be a good/better choice, now is realising it wasn't the better choice and after waiting a year to see if his issues improved 'with updates, is now left scratching his metaphorical nut wondering why his older nexus device runs much better than his year old iphone....Can you not see his point?
He wanted it to work for him...It hasn't.

It sucks to spend a ton of cash on something that ultimately disappoints and feels insult to injury when software updates fail to rectify disappointments (we've all been there) and i personally think this Ios 9.2 thread is somewhere he should be freely, allowed to vent frustration. :)

I know what he's going through when it comes to buying something expensive that doesn't work for you. I bought an S6 after the 6+. I moved back.

Also, you're mistaking my point. I am a man who wants people to have their best experience. If iOS isn't giving him that, he should go to what does. This is the perfect thread to complain, sure, but in the end he's going to have to choose his experience.

I would move back to the N5, or maybe even save up for a 5X, if I were him. Technology is supposed to improve our lives, not make it more frustrating.

You are one of the few that has also experienced this bug, from what I have read. This has been driving me crazy, personally. I can highlight text via 3d touch initially, but after that it just doesn't activate for me. I have to keep trying or even delete the words and start over/go out and back into the app

Well, I just received an email from bug report. They closed my case saying it was a duplicate of another, even though mine was open before it. I'm not sure how that makes mine a duplicate, here's hoping they are close to a fix. It has gotten worse with the latest update. It almost never activates now, but the multitasking gesture works better.
