Will I be able to open Safari windows quicker?
Will I be able to close an app with a pinch the first time I pinch instead of having to do it several times, some of which go to the previous app that I had successfully and finally managed to close?

9.1 is running so good for me on my iPhone 6s that I'm scared to update. My battery life on 9.1 is the best it's ever been and experience is very fluid.

Same here, it was working and working well, now there is no mention of all of NumberSync on my phone.

Someone posted the solution in another thread. You need to download a carrier update by going into Settings>General>About. After I did that, NumberSync was working again.

The build is the same.
Right, but if it was different (or when it will be different in some future update) you should receive an update message, that's what I was saying.

I'm not sure if it's been mentioned but iPhone 6S Plus has fixed the 60fps problem with UI. Like hard-pressing the side to get app-switcher as well as 3D touch on apps on the home menu

"- iPhone support for the USB Camera Adapter to import photos and videos"

Well that is a pleasant surprise!

9.2 does fix this.
i can verify that my friends iPhone 6 Plus is perfectly smooth with the app switcher on 9.2 which is nice. Actually app switcher to homescreen suffers a *little* but it's MUCH better.
Not sure if it's placebo but animations feel smoother on the 4S. And I really loathe the app switcher with reduce motion on now.
I can confirm that the app switcher stuttering is totally gone on the iPhone 5 as well (with reduced motion turned off)! They said they fixed that in iOS 9.1 but I sure didn't notice it then.

You don't have to do anything but increment the build number to differentiate them.
Yeah I suppose but typically dont if nothing has changed. And in reality it doesnt really matter. Most users will have no idea about a build number or what it is or even care. Heck a lot don't even know the version of iOS they have just that there was "some update" it said to do

Then you will love 9.2. Now is the time to do it as 9.1 will still be signed for a few days typically and u can go back if need be. I doubt you will tho!

I installed 9.2 on both my iPhone 5S and iPad Air and what a mistake. Now they both run like crap and are lagging big time. They both run like they are 9 year old bargain basement devices. I wished ai would of stayed with 9.1, they were running fine. What a mistake. Not sure what is going on with Apple but I wish Steve Jobs still ran it.
I'd give them a day and see if they run better. Often it smooths out after awhile.

After updating to iOS 9.2 my iPad Air is so much smoother. There is no longer any lag in the app switcher and the delay before opening an app is gone too.

My iPhone 6 feels somewhat faster too but the difference isn't night-and-day like with my iPad.

Yeah iPhone 5 is doing excellent, have a spare in the house I've been testing out. I almost prefer it to my iPhone 6 because of the lack of any control center frame rate issues. And yeah I don't know what was going on with 9.1, Apple specifically said "better multitasking performance in the app switcher" but I found the contrary, my iPad mini 2 was just wrecked in that area with 9.1. iPhone 6 even had issues somewhat.

Delay before opening an app is pretty much fixed I agree but my mini 2 is still pretty bad in the app switcher. Much better than before, don't get me wrong, but work is still needing to be done. Sometimes I get a perfect 60FPS animation going into the switcher, sometimes when going back out of it, but other times it still is a trash 20-30FPS. Nothing like that 10 or so FPS we got with 9.1 *shutters* I noticed it seems to be quicker to respond going in and out of but yeah animations still need a little work. It's getting there though as I said.

Im fed up enough with it enough though that I'm getting ready to jailbreak whenever that is available to me, all app switcher blurring is GOING AWAY. Problem will be solved by then hopefully.

The swipe down for apps in the ipad multitasking window now has some terrible input lag on the Air 2. *sigh*

Restarted my 6S Plus and still nothing.... Currently on B4 Public Beta, we shouldn't have to delete the Public Beta profile right?
try to back up and then go to DFU mode and click restore.... and then restore from back up

Does anyone know if AT&T Number Sync will work on a Windows PC running Windows 10? How do you enable it?
It seems that only Apple devices signed into the same iCloud account as the phone support NumberSync from iPhone as of right now. You simply enable it on the iPhone, then the option is pushed to your other Apple devices (iPad, Mac, Watch). There's no way to manually enable it on other devices as far as I can tell. That may change as AT&T expands NumberSync to support additional devices.
