Just updated my iPhone 6s from 9.2 to 9.3 (over the air download / time 6 min / size +300mb)
--So far everything works perfectly, and it seems the phone has become noticably faster in many cases.

Apple TV having same over past few days.. I just say it's Apple. Where everything else works fast they can't blame the customer on this one.

Good to see 1970 bug fixed

I like Apple pushing out a feature like 3D Touch and only gradually rolling out "by force" That is probably the most thing that irritates me more than just saying "good feature" since it limits u where u can use a niffy little feature.... No third part app support, or need to be updated i agree here, but there is no excuse for not all of Apple's own default apps to support it.

Seems that thinking a 4 generation back device would have the same features as the current ones may be considered ridiculous. Just saying.
You're broadening the scope of my expectation. Just saying.

The nature of Night Shift is not a new thing.. the branding is.

You don't need new hardware for colour temperature changes. This has been done on displays of all sorts forever.

Encumbering Night Shift exclusively in 64bit code is a choice, not a necessity, as f.lux has already demonstrated on models even older than the iPhone 5.

Anyway, I don't see this going anywhere.. it is what it is. For those of you within the Apple-approved iPhone versions, enjoy the potential health benefits of Night Shift. My iPhone 5 should be good for another couple years, provided Apple doesn't slow it like the 3G, and I'll catch it on the 7s or so.

I get UI lag when scrolling the homescreen from the last page to the first by pressing the home button but that's the only noticeable lag I have. Was there in 9.2 and still there in 9.3. 6S Plus too so I hate to think what the 6 Plus is like.

Thanks, guess I'll stick with 8.4 till the iPhone 7

You cannot lock a Note that contains a PDF. "Can't Apply Password. Locked notes can contain only image, sketch, map, and web attachments. OK"

That's a shame. You can send PDF to an unlocked note no problem.

Would it be better if Night Shift would turn on but then you wouldn't really see much in the way of battery savings from Low Power Mode?
It would be better if it were completely manual.

Is it me or has the iPad Mini 2 received a performance boost? iOS 9.3 feels faster here. Very good update indeed.

ok, I got ask now:

is apple getting out of the computer business?

MacBook (The peace of junk that has no USB ports (last updated a year ago)
MacBook Air (last updated a year ago)
iMac Mini (last updated a year and a half ago)
Mac Pro (last updated over TWO years ago)
MacBook Pro (last updated a decade ago)

The only Mac that has been updated in the last year is the iMac and the Retina MacBook Pro.
And Mac OS is starting to have issues that Apple has not addressed at all in the past few years.
So I ask again, is Apple getting out the of computer business?

Aren't those ones updated their major sellers?

Mini has always been slow to update (the desktop Pros too, but this last one didn't go over so well, so who knows).
I think they're done with the MacBook Pro.

So it's mostly the Air that's most out of date and they need to figure out where those fit with the plain new Retina MacBook. They could dump them...

I think we'll get new Skylake processors that'll refresh the Retina Pros and the Airs (if they don't discontinue the latter) soon.

I just want to ask what is wrong with Apple. In 9.3, One can add songs to playlists without adding them to the music library (just like Spotify). This is a good feature. So I add songs to playlists without adding them to My Music on my 6s.

But then, Heck! It appeared that Such feature is not ready on OS X. So the music library on OS X is a f***ing mess: dozens of albums appear in My Music after syncing.

Edit:
I then manually deleted those songs from My Music. Fortunately it does not affect the playlists. So problem solved, kind of.

In addition to the 9.3 update on my 6S, I also recieved an AT&T 24.1 Carrier Update. Is there any change log available for these carrier updates?

Generally there's no information about carrier updates.

Tried night shift while in bed it made my eyes feel bad I cranked it up a bit and it is worse.

9.3 is way better than both on 4S.

Thanx! I think that may be the case for me too. It seemed a bit faster from the upgrade, but I'm going to do a clean install now to make sure I'm tapping whatever extra power I can.

When used to full blue, it can take weeks to adjust to warm/yellow. Try this:

1) with schedule set to sunrise/set, wait until several hours after dark
2) push the temperature slider all the way to the right
3) slowly drag the slider to the left until it stops looking yellow (or just a bit yellow)
4) repeat 1-3 each night for at least a week
5) The point at which you stop should gradually move towards the right*

* for fastest results, install flux on your macs and turn off LED/fluorescent lighting (including the tv)

Ok... They responded to my DM now, waiting for another message..

WHY DID I UPDATE SO SOON?! Just wasted 2 hours of what I thought was going to be a good evening into a bricked iPad and waiting for help.. Although I appriciate their help so far.

[doublepost=1458627729][/doublepost]Happy to hear it worked out for you .
