I had Apple look at it. They determined that it needed to be swapped out, not me.
As conveyed in another post, the solution was to simply change a sound setting. However, the qualified Apple Store person determined that it was a hardware problem and swapped your phone. Hmmm, doesn't say much about the Apple line of it is much better to have Apple employees handle device problems than third parties. Lucky your phone was on warranty. Otherwise the Apple employee would have strongly suggested that you buy a new phone due to this "hardware malfunction".

I got it stored via iTunes finally. But still not having any luck via OTA. Same with my wife’s phone.
After i updated my pro via iTunes to 13.1 it checked for over the air updates fine and picked up 13.1.1. I cant remember what phone you are using, if its a new 11 of some kind talk to Apple.

This iOS version is so bad, even Apple still didn't nag me with notifications to update my OS 🤣/s

I don't care about bug fixes anymore, I learned that whatever software out there will have problems and bugs. So stop complaining and wait for the later version where everything is fixed and ironed out.

On the contrary, they are getting updates and fixes out to customers as quickly as possible.

there are bug fixes and then there are untested software. If 1 year is such a short time to get a decent OS out, its ok they don't have to stick to the 12month schedule.

Awesome news. I thought I was the only one with battery issues after updating to iOS 13.1

I thought mine would after 13.1, alas no such luck for me.

Google just doesn't f-king care. Just like most of its apps.
I'm guessing they'd say that Android OS image would be huge and then no customization if Google does it all. Whatever.
I was a huge Motorola fan but getting jerked around waiting for 6 months for the next Android major version burnt me out.
Then I switched to Nexus 5 and Android K battery life wasn't great, but it was usable. But Android L had a ginormous battery drain that Google never fixed. It was there in the beta and they just hid that battery stat in production. It absolutely killed the battery life.
A few months later IPhone 6 world version (compatible with every carrier) launched and I made the switch. Not ever going back to Android.

Is anyone else having a problem with AirDrop?

I can't AirDrop from the iPhone XS(13.1.1) to my Macbook Pro (with the current Catalina beta 19A573a).

I CAN AirDrop:
From Macbook Pro to the iPhone XS.
iPhone XS to iPad Pro (13.1.1)
iPhone XS to iPad Mini2 (on iOS 12)
From iPad Pro (13.1.1) to Macbook Pro.
From iPad Mini2 (on iOS 12) to Macbook Pro.

So it's just the iPhone XS that can't AirDrop to the MacBook Pro, and I'm wondering if this is an outstanding bug.

“Addresses an issue that could cause Reminders to sync slowly”

Nope. Installed and rebooted an extra time for good measure and my phone still has not synced all of my reminders even though I started yesterday!

I’ve been having this problem since well before the release of iOS 13, between four devices (iPhone 6s, original iPad Pro 12.9”, MacBook Pro 5,5, and iMac 12,2). It’s really getting on my nerves.
Update now - 13.1.1 is now finally near perfect for me, and slightly better performance all round on my 6S.
I sure hope so!!

Did they fix the unresponsive typing (no typing and then suddenly what you typed appears after a pause) when switching between apps that was introduced halfway through iOS 12??

No because the old devices need to be updated so the backups can be restored onto new model phones when people buy them. On the other hand if that isn’t a need for you, you are free to not install any updates.

Just because it is released doesn’t mean you have to install it. But they have to release it for the purpose of creating backups on the latest iOS for people who need to restore from it.

We all want new features. I’d like to see Apple prioritise stability first and roll out new features only gradually when they’re stable.

Excuse me? Where in the world did you get the idea that you can't restore from earlier to later? It's the *reverse* you can't do. You can restore backups from an iOS 12 device onto an iOS 13 device forever.
