Nice to see I wasn't imagining the faster battery drain on my 6s. Just installed the update now.

Thanks for this, I was stressing about it just spinning on the boot screen for 90 minutes. Did the Volume up, down and then press and hold until the phone turned off and it rebooted back to iOS 13.0

Has anyone actually managed to get 13.1 working on iPhone 11 or is this just a small number of people affected?
Well, I’m stubborn and impatient so I tried installing it again and it was successful on the second try.

IOS 13.1.1 brought a problem again with error 53 of itunes, they must fix this quickly because users cannot use their phones

Yeah. Pressing volume up, down, and then holding down the side button until it shuts down and restsrts seemed to do the trick.

I hate that you have to press "volume up, down, and then holding down the side button" then touch your left ear and sing a song...🤪 and remember to adjust the volume after all that!
it's so unnatural , so crazy: who did come up at Apple with this insane idea?! I cannot remember it and always have to check my notes...

Surprised MR isn’t reporting on how buggy these releases have been. At one point, Mail magically loaded over a year of old emails. 0.o

Happy to see this. My battery drain has been a problem since updating. Also mail is buggy. Hope this fixes both and stops my phone from being a personal heating device.

Why are people so quick to swap out devices at the first sign of an issue? Read about it all the time. Only to see it’s not hardware it’s software. Does nobody test anything anymore?

I had Apple look at it. They determined that it needed to be swapped out, not me.

Anyone else having camera focus issues?

I just got a “certified” pre owned iPhone 8, only part of pic is in focus, not sure if it’s iOS or the used iphone...iPad w/update also seem to be not so sharp, but don’t use it much, just tested to see if it’s iOS or hardware issue. (Edit: iOS 13.0 haven’t updated yet...wondering if this update fixes.)

Sometimes software can break hardware...starting back with iPhone 3g and iOS 4, iOS 4 caused WiFi chip to overheat and it no longer functioned.

Android OS Fragmentation isn't Google's Fault
Yeah, it is. Can you imagine what Windows would be like if only Microsoft hardware was updated directly, and Dell / HP / etc had to compile and push all Windows updates themselves?

Google just doesn't f-king care. Just like most of its apps.

Update though iTunes. Did you have issues with 13.1?

Im keeping away from Catalina for a while. Last year was such a pleasure compared with this version.
I got it stored via iTunes finally. But still not having any luck via OTA. Same with my wife’s phone.
