Still curious how they managed not to catch this issue before the release.
ehh as long as they fix it.

It's appreciated they fixed it, but come on.

How many times have we updated since September? I think it's three or four times now. It's a pain in the (rhymes with sass).

I still haven't updated my watch to the latest point release because I don't want to wait for 40 minutes.

Finally....weren't we supposed to start getting Delta updates as of iOS 5? None of these feel very delta-y.
lol this was the buggest iOS ever, they said...

i was sending Feedback for macOS (then just got a reply: "More information is needed")
WHATEVER that means?? what more info am i supposed to send?! LOL

In the past, I usually wait for a dot update to upgrade my software.
Now, I have to wait for a dot dot update to update the update of my updated software.

FYI. They are releasing weekly/bi-weekly bug fixes because their dev team is agile. expect this process to continue. You are welcome.
Agile development doesn’t necessarily mean an actual customer facing release at the ent of each sprint. Not to mention that Apple, similar to many other companies, has most likely had this type of development process in place for many years now (without having constant weekly/biweekly releases).

Expect 2 to 4 bug releases a month. This will be their new software development lifecycle.

Why "new" all of a sudden? Fairly sure that agile isn't even close to anything new for Apple.

Not to mention that it already hasn't held up on multiple occasions where we had multiple releases in a matter of just days.

As a developer myself, we do 2 sprints a month. Apple has their act together to release 4 sprints a month. It’s very impressive.

Don’t think that’s really all that related to this. Again, given that agile and sprints are something that have been around at Apple for a long time at this point without multiple releases every month, and given that even recently release haven’t really lined up that way anyway.

Not only that, but it's not a big deal.

Most iPhone users don't read MacRumors and they don't immediately install updates when they come out. They wait for the OS to notify them an update is available, then tell the phone to install it overnight. The notification might not appear for up to a week after a new update.

There's a good chance people have skipped some iOS 13 updates simply because of the amount of time the OS takes to notify the user they are available.

True.
For example, I didn’t get any pushed OTA to update to iOS 13 until 13.1.2. Then 13.1.3. Then I haven’t even gotten any pushed OTS for 13.2. Lucky me I guess

I installed it on my iPhone 11 Pro max. It has been going for well over an hour with the Apple logo and a rotating circle. I think it is bricked. Any suggestions? Should I force shutdown or take it to the Apple store tomorrow?

You're getting two different things confused. It has nothing to do with mobile.

Microsoft at this point does have better software quality and update discipline, even as they have a far more complex ecosystem, literally the largest in the world.

Apple has a relatively tiny ecosystem, with first party hardware only, and can't manage not to require an emergency update every week because they broke a major system function.

As you said, iOS only compares to a severely stripped down Windows that doesn't run any apps.

Simple as that.
Microsoft doesn’t even has an ecosystem! Wearables? Tablets? Tv ?

Anyone remember the crapshoot that iOS 3 was? At least now data and files are mostly not being lost or deleted.

How about those of us on 11? 🙄
11? Wow. Why on earth didn’t you go to 12? Normally I would be apprehensive, but 11 was not good and the consensus was that 12 was.

Had the same 4 tabs open all afternoon since the update and no reloads nearly 6 hours later after shuffling around a few apps and coming back to safari on iPad Pro. FIXED!

Confirmed, iPad Pro 9.7 (2016) is running smooth as butter here also.

Seems to be managing even better than before. Usually while using the Twitch app and casting to my TV, locking the phone would lose connection with the app (TV keeps playing). I would need to hit the cast button again after going back to the app.

Edit: Got ahead of myself, Twitch acts the same as before.

Don't know if it's just me, but 13.2.2 also fixed the broken universal clipboard between my iPhone 11 Pro and other devices
