Interesting that my 13.3 beta is getting the update. Typically not the case, apparently last weeks beta wasn't the GM

It was still there on beta 4. I also sent an email to Craig F. and the next day someone from Apple support called to get more info on my issue. So yeah, I’m sure it’s still there.
Which email did you use? Share it so i can email him too

This update takes quite a while to download and install. Initially it said 3 mins for me then counted back up to 3 mins from 50 seconds... the install is STILL going.

Definitely not something you can do quickly. This one takes awhile.

I truly hope the memory issues are resolved. Apps reloading with extreme frequency has been the biggest nuisance I have ever experienced on iOS.

Or the odd time you switch between apps on the iPad resulting with that app being 100% unresponsive to touch or any other action other than swiping up to dismiss...

OK, it's there! Literally the only reason I wanted to install this update was to remove the asinine ani/Memoji from the keyboard. Was a boneheaded idea to shoehorn them into the emoji keyboard to begin with.

I REALLY like the keyboard the way it is now without the emoji stuff. Ahhhhhh I was always accidentally hitting that stuff while typing. NICE.

Did they put back the release calendar for upcoming preorders? Since they broke up itunes, I don't see the preorder calendar.

I've dealt with a couple of bricked iOS devices; not mine, but ones I had to help support. It's not pretty when it happens, and it means a long afternoon or evening at the Apple Store.

That said, 13.3 installed on both the iPad and the iPhone without issue.

OK... Installing now. I always love that moment of tension when you wonder if you're going to get an updated device or a brick.

In all my years, I suppose I've been fortunate and never had any device bricked by an update.

** Knocking on wood anyhow ;)

Have fun with the 13.2 bugs then 🤷🏻‍♂️

For people who actually use their devices for work I can agree that waiting a couple of days is very smart. Especially since 13.2 had the horrendous memory bug that none of the beta testers before noticed.
