Wonder if they bothered to fix all the bugs with the Podcast app? The worst is pausing a podcast using the remote on standard earbuds…if you pause a podcast and then try to resume using the remote, it starts the music app instead of resuming the podcast!
Podcasts app alway has been a disaster, clearly they have one person maintaining it and probably on a rotating basis.

Well mail still stinks! Wonderful! I love getting deleted messages from the days past!

I don't want to be the "It works for me" because normally that's useless, but after hearing so many complaints about mail in the past few months I have to ask:

Why haven't I had any of these issues? Mail has been working perfectly for me this whole time. I'm just wondering what I'm doing different than all the people who have such serious problems with mail. o_O

You’re not using exchange/office365 mail....

Just updated my iPad Air 2 and very much regretting it. It has become extremely slow suddenly. Opening an app takes 2-3 seconds for smaller apps and as much as 20-30 seconds for larger apps (i.e. AirMail, 1Password). Swiping between pages is noticeably laggy too. Another disaster release by Apple by the looks of it. :( Definitely not going to update my iPhone 8 anytime soon.

For myself, is there any reason to install 13.x yet? There's nothing worth bothering with on the new features list. Since you can no longer step back, I don't see any reason to move off of 12.x until there's a real reason to do so... although it is starting to get old at this point that apps have introduced 13.x dependencies for no reason that I can see...

Has anybody tried physical 2FA security keys?

Although iOS 13.3 is supposed to support them, apparently third parties still need to be updated. Google, for example, still prompts for Authenticator TOTPs (if you have that configured) instead of U2F. Same with other apps that support/require U2F but aren’t working with iOS 13.3.

Give it 24 hours. iOS always rebuilds caches and search indexes after each update so it can hammer the system for a while depending how much data there is.

Was hoping for another beta because they didn’t fix the bug I submitted in the last beta where the battery section in settings never opens and you just get the spinning wheel forever.

Exchange email has been problematic in iOS and macos for some time though in the default mail app. I moved across to the Microsoft apps years ago because of it. Any reason why you’re still using the default apps for that? Just curious.

What is apple thinking with the video editing functionality? Put it back the way it was! It's absurd to trim a video and save as a new clip. Then you must find and delete the old video... Insanity.

Stop the worthless 'new features' and make the OS usable and stable.

I just tried a webauthn site with Safari and my YubiKey 5Ci. Worked well.

It seems to be ok on my first generation 9.7 inch iPad Pro. Course just started using it after it did the update this afternoon. I only had Mail acting stupid and only for my work email was ok, so I’ll see how it works this evening to see if I’ll let my iPhone XR do the update or not.

For people who actually use their devices for work I can agree that waiting a couple of days is very smart. Especially since 13.2 had the horrendous memory bug that none of the beta testers before noticed.

There’s a lot of discussions about that bug. And many testers reported it. Yet Apple just ignored the bug until it was picked up by the media. So the fault was on Apple’s part.

You do realize it gives you the option to trim the original video or save it as a new clip. Seem like a rational approach to how something like that would be done, with options provided to the user.

It's basically how it always used to be and Apple is essentially fixing things by going back to that:
