Downloaded and installed on my iPad. Currently installing on my XS (download was much slower than on my iPad despite similar update size, but it verified the update with no problems for me).

Downloading works fine. You just cant install it. Plus now it seems that installing on iPad's works just fine. There's something wrong with verifying on iPhones.

I got 'verifying' for like 3 seconds then iPhone 8 rebooted, Apple logo flashed 1 time, screen blank then immediately back on and installation has begun.
PS: I'm connected to power via lightning.

Good for you then, I'm still having that "no connection" info. I guess I'm out of luck then...

Just updated my 11" iPad Pro. The mail toolbar doesn't look any different (still just the one back arrow button which brings up a context menu). Is the mail toolbar supposed to have been updated on the iPad, too, or just the phone?

Haven't done my phone yet.

“Magic Mouse (1) support” with no scroll gestures. Is this a joke? WHAT CAN I DO WITH A MOUSE THAT DOESN´T SCROLL?

Apple has also made a subtle but notable change to the way the URL bar works in Safari. In iOS 13.4, you can tap into the URL bar right away even when a URL is highlighted, which is different behavior from iOS 13.3.1. In iOS 13.3.1, an extra tap outside of a URL was required to deselect it before it could be tapped to be edited.

This has been bugging me a lot, but was not fixed by 13.4 for me.

Sorry to hear that. Maybe a reboot or need for direct connection to iTunes/Finder (Catalina) may be needed?

still I think if more people report Apple will be made aware.
Restarting did nothing and right now I don't have access to my Mac. No 13.4 right now for me 🤪

Anyone else not seeing the new wallpapers on iPad Pro? I had the GM build installed and i dont see them...

My daughter, who uses her iPhone 8 like an over glorified iPod, had hers install fine.

Wife’s 8 is in rice as it went in the wash for like 5 minutes. :(
(Water resistant up to 3.3 feet for 30 minutes my a***)

Water was not the only thing applied within the washer ;) Your wife read the owners manual and the limitations ... she's just planned an immediate upgrade and I have feeling (if you're a good man) have been involuntarily selected to front the upgrade bill. ;)

Good stuff.

All the apps installed in my iPhone were redownloaded after the update. Anyone else? Or anyone know why that happened?

Sorry for those having issues downloading and/or installing the updates. I did the betas last week, so no need to update today. I would venture to guess that there is reduced bandwidth on the web, given there are far more people, than normal, ”working” from home. Could also be more people trying to update as well. I am updating my Watch and iMac now, with both progressing at what seems like a normal rate. Hopefully things will get back to normal, life-wise and internet service wise, soon.

So if this update brinks your phone what do you do??

With most Apple Stores closed around the world, I think you're screwed. Which is why I'm not going to rush into any updates for the time being. When my device starts reminding me to update, which I think will be later this week or next, I'll check back and make sure there are not widespread issues, then I might go for it. But this is really not the time to mess with our devices.
