Full disclosure; I have a tin foil hat on at the moment.
I'v chosen not to update at the moment. With the way things are I'm not taking the chance of turning a working phone/computer into a bricked one.
Hopefully once lots and lots of others have confirmed minimal issues, I'll do the upgrade.

For those that use Apple Music, the lyrics now has these 3 dots to indicate when the first line of lyrics/song starts. Similar to a karaoke session.
I wish there was an option to change that ginormous font size for "timed" lyrics. AFAICT, only songs that don't have lyric timings show in a normal font size... They could call the large font Karaoke mode and a smaller font Normal mode or something...

Just unlocked my iPhone SE to see how things were, and it warned me that the WatchOS 5.3.4 in my Series 4 is outdated..

I'm not sure if I want the WatchOS update nagging (is it correct?), which comes as a notification in my Watch every single time I get it from the charger, to have a companion in my SE... :D

iOS needs the ability to see all information about a file and the ability to rename the file when I swipe up on the picture in Photos or in the editor in Camera. Currently, when I swipe up I see only the location for the picture.

When I swipe up I want to see all information for the picture file and I would like the ability to rename the file right there. I should also be able to add/append notes or recorded sounds to a picture; a "pro" feature for picture files. .

iOS should be able to record sound or use a sound file to easily make a ringtone. I should be able to easily make ringtones from music in Music app.

It would be much nicer if speakerphone conversations sounded great. Is there a way to enhance it to sound really good? Many speakerphone calls have terrible sound quality.

The earphone for phone calls should be more powerful. It should automatically match background loudness during a call. If I'm talking in a very loud location, for that brief time I need to hear the call.

I was hoping the build number is different. That way they might have added support for original trackpad...
IIRC, one of the differences between the Magic Trackpad 2 and the old Magic Trackpad was the haptic engine/force touch vs. the physical click (like on the old non-retina MBAs). If I were to hazard a guess, that's probably required for the gesture support.

So I been using the Golden Master for a few days and the first thing I notice on both my iPhone 11 Pro and iPad Pro is that 13.4 burns through battery. Curious if others experience the same?

Also, calling out via FaceTime never connects. They have to call me.....Anyone seeing this?

I wonder if they fixed the email app regarding new message badges updating in unusual ways compared to iOS 12. Thats the only thing that really bothers me about iOS 13.

Don't wanna be a jerk here but isn't is a little tone deaf to be releasing updates that are going to pull petabytes more of bandwith through on an internet thats straining already from the Coronavirus crisis?

I've been on the GM a few days also.

My battery has been draining quicker on an iPhone X with the smart battery case since upgrading.

I'm having issue with FaceTime also. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. Accepting calls as the receiver has worked every time.

I'm finally getting mail notifications when mail comes in. The emails are still not showing up when I open the app, but it has to download them.

My slack notifications have been coming in now also.

Previously my mail and slack (and other notifications) would be anywhere from instant to delayed by several hours or never show up.

I had the same issue on my 11 pro. I completed the following steps to upgrade.

  1. Go to Settings > General > [Device name] Storage.
  2. Find the update in the list of apps.
  3. Tap the update, then tap Delete Update.
  4. Go to Settings > General > Software Update and download the latest update.

Try the following

  1. Go to Settings > General > [Device name] Storage.
  2. Find the update in the list of apps.
  3. Tap the update, then tap Delete Update.
  4. Go to Settings > General > Software Update and download the latest update.
Worked for me as well

Wow. Something that’s never happened to me personally. Installed the update a few minutes ago and while om Youtube, my iPad crashed!
Has never happened to me before.

You cannot to this if your iPhone (like mine) is stuck on restore mode, yet still won't respond to that either (Software not available for your iPhone at this time)- an iPhone 11 Pro max!

Maybe yes maybe no.
The original trachpad supports tap to click, 2 fingers tap, three and four fingers gestures.
I believe it's Apple's strategy to make more money

Regrettably, the bug fix for what Apple Support called a known issue, isn’t in this update. Had hoped today would be the day that Reminders worked again. :'(

The known issue is where someone who elected to delay the migration to the new Reminders data format, and then migrated later, the iOS Reminders app is unable to sync with iCloud, even though Macs running Catalina can. The iCloud reminders can also be shared to other iOS devices. They just won’t sync to the original device. Factory Resets are inaffective in resolving the issue. I’ve tried twice, once with an Apple Store Genius’ actively working with me, to make sure I didn’t miss anything.

“Magic Mouse (1) support” with no scroll gestures. Is this a joke? WHAT CAN I DO WITH A MOUSE THAT DOESN´T SCROLL?

It is a joke! My Magic Mouse (1) and Magic Trackpad (1) have no scrolling and no multi-touch support. My Magic Trackpad 2 which I prefer to use with my iMac however has full support for scrolling and multi-touch gestures which are fantastic with iPad OS. Why oh why Apple don't you support your own hardware? Would have been great to repurpose my older mouse and trackpad to use with my iPad.

Un F'n believable they would roll out such a buggy update or any update at a time literally of a world crisis. A time when so many are depending on their devices as a lifeline and so many have their updates set to automatic. Apple is staffed by a generation of smart idiots.

Nope. Bad strategy. That doesn’t make money!
I am also frustrated by this....

Mail app on the iPad is still unsuitable for anything more serious than the two lines replies.
Yup. Mail still doesn't download in background. And Reminders and Calendar entries still do not sync consistently between Mac and phone/iPad.

This takes the p155 coming from supposedly a "tech giant". I'm sure heads have rolled, but how many will need to roll before this seemingly simple situation is fixed!

I can’t understand why my Magic Mouse can’t have the same functionality on my iPad as it does on my mbp. Very disappointin.
