I can’t understand why my Magic Mouse can’t have the same functionality on my iPad as it does on my mbp. Very disappointin.
Because it’s an iPad and no Mac. There is and will be a difference.

It probably spun “around” more than 3m. Does the spec say which direction the meters count in?Not sure agitation inside a spinning washing machine counts as being simply dunked in water for a few minutes.
Oh boy... iTunes doesn’t come with macOS Catalina. That might be a problem.
Well clearly. But is this a difference that has a technical basis or a we don’t want to do it basis?Because it’s an iPad and no Mac. There is and will be a difference.

Mine’s the Magic Mouse 2 so a current model. Does that make a difference?Might also have something to do with not supporting a device that was release 10 years ago and effectively replaced 4+ years ago.
Maybe they misplaced the appropriate driver files? /s
Ah, mistaken identity 😀Oh, right, it is @rumormiller that was talking about the magic mouse 1 not working.
This has been bugging me a lot, but was not fixed by 13.4 for me.
Also, calling out via FaceTime never connects. They have to call me.....Anyone seeing this?
So did my iPhone 5S. Nice!My 2015 iPad Mini 3 got an update today, to 12.4.6
Yay
I see it doesn't work for me either. They're taking the michael.I was hoping the build number is different. That way they might have added support for original trackpad...
They won't be getting any more money from me.Maybe yes maybe no.
The original trachpad supports tap to click, 2 fingers tap, three and four fingers gestures.
I believe it's Apple's strategy to make more money
I can confirm it works on the base 5th gen (2017) and 6th gen (2018) iPads. AFAIK, it should work on amy iPad that supports iPadOS 13.4.Wonder if this mouse support works for simple iPad of 2019.
The mail app still hangs with gmail, so all of those nifty UI improvements are meaningless. iOS 13 is the first version where I have to use Google’s Gmail app (which I dislike) instead of the mail app - which worked fine with gmail in every iOS version prior to 13.
I’m really hoping Apple cancels WWDC this year and instead focuses it’s efforts on optimizing what it already has. iOS and iPad OS and macOS Catalina have been and continue to be regarded as not one of Apple’s better efforts. There couldn’t be a better time than now for taking a breather on the next batch of new features (whatever they are this time) and just go all out on bug fixes and optimization - which is probably what most people want in the next version anyway - and maybe add in new features over time as the current software matures.
Might give developers a little break too so they can focus their efforts on the current version of software rather than the yearly moving target.
Hospitalised? More like a padded cell and strong meds.Just installed iOS 13.4. Around 970MB on an iPhone XR for those wondering.
So far so good with the changes, it's especially good that Apple is able to publish new updates during a pandemy.
Speaking of which, I think Siri should be hospitalized :
Haven’t dared “upgrade” yet, but swipe left in message view gives you reply, flag and trash rather than using the kitchen sink icon at the bottom.Mail Flags are still buried in that "Reply" icon (kitchen sink repository for all manner of second class services)![]()
Anyone you send the share link to I believe.Question about folder sharing...
Can I share a folder to anyone or do they have to have an iCloud account?
Sort of working anyway. Better the devil you know. If I didn’t get an 11 series I would have stayed on 10 or 12. 13 has been an almost continuous clusterfudge and auto clusterfudge (correct?) and Siri have been infuriating.Full disclosure; I have a tin foil hat on at the moment.
I'v chosen not to update at the moment. With the way things are I'm not taking the chance of turning a working phone/computer into a bricked one.
Hopefully once lots and lots of others have confirmed minimal issues, I'll do the upgrade.
