Not sure about a deadline, but they've been warned that they have to update their apps or risk being banned.Did Apple give developers a deadline for implementing this feature?

Which is brainless. Facebook get 14.5 on their test iPhones and work out a way to track you. Should have been a deadline. App not updated by the day before then they will be banned. Not sure about a deadline, but they've been warned that they have to update their apps or risk being banned.
Nothing to worry about. It's just planned obsolescence, right ?? 🙀I’m updating. Ever since 14.5 my phone feels slower opening folders/apps. Had no issues during beta but official release is troublesome. Shouldnt be experiencing that on a 12 Pro Max after only 5-6 months.
Maybe spotlight indexing ?This update has slowed down my back up iPhone 7 to a crawl. Anyone else’s performance severely impacted? Its super choppy, very noticeable and not normal.
Edit: Ok after about 15 min of leaving it alone, everything is back to normal. Very strange. I have not had a problem like this in years and I have had the iPhone since the beginning. Must have been running some kind of background task after installation.
same on my 12 pro maxWouldn’t let me install the update, hard reset done nothing, power off and on your device and it should update.
Turn on download and install updates, make sure it’s on charge once it downloads if you still can’t install it, shut down your device for 10-20 seconds, turn it back on, should be able to install it then.
Maybe, it’s never slowed down that much before for any reason. Force restarted it and shut it down completely and when i booted it back up it was still really laggy.Maybe spotlight indexing ?
Are you guys on 14.5 public release or the final RC? I’m on RC and I also have this issue.Exactly the same for me.

that’s what’s I had to do.
You would think they would have noticed this problem during the beta period?
They forgot the slowing down feature of old devices.
same for meI'm on 14.5 public release.
Appreciate for the suggestion but unfortunately didn't work for me.
They deserve it back and more, after taking back all the butterfly keyboards and hopefully soon releasing the USB port and MagSafe hostages.2016 called, they want their joke back.

Did you read the option "Allow Apps to Request to Track" in Privacy settings? This mean that if it's not enabled the companies will no longer be able to use the ID for Advertisers (IDFA) by default and you won't see any popups from apps . If it's enabled apps can ask for specific permission through a pop-up notification or in settings. That's all
It needs to be turned on if you want a pop up for most of your apps.
Hi,
