This may have been mentioned somewhere else, but does anybody know if iCal subscriptions will show up on my iPhone via MobileMe? I didn't know if this was a MobileMe issue or an OS issue. Thanks!

To all those that were fear mongering about the GM buggering up peoples phones, shame on you.

To all that now have 3.0, ENJOY!

Download was pretty fast for me! I am not sure why people are complaining about slow download. Right now it is halfway through installation.

crossgrading

is there any way to confirm if this is the exact same as 3.0 GM? any confirmations so far?

I'm crossgrading from the GM to the iPhone 3.0 update, they both weigh in at 230.1 MB. I only have the 3G and I believe the 3.0 for the 3GS is understandably bigger for those who have the phone already, due to the inclusion of addt'l apps.

This is an awesome week. Tuesday: school ended, Wednesday: OS 3 releases, Thursday: my birthday, and Friday: official iPhone 3gs release.

Too bad, I have to wait 'till 3am to download this because of my "fair" access policy.

OK - that was annoying - got an error and am now restoring my phone. Hopefully the backup I took this morning will let me get my info back.

Wiped?

Weird. Nothing was wiped, it just upgraded the OS and left all the apps and all that. Did not do a restore or anything. Nice, but weird.

Yours still works? You lucky dog you. I bought a refurb from ATT and it lasted only about 8 months. Had to buy a 3g, I miss my old phone.
But can't wait to be able to get a 3gs ;)

Mine still works too. Bought it on June 29, 2007. But it's an 8GB. It recently survived a 10 second submersion in my pool as I jumped in after my 2 year old. It also spent 5 or 10 minutes in my jeans pocket while I dried him off and changed his clothes. No problems whatsoever!
