Hey, Criss can violate his NDA if he wants. I thought I'd just remind him there may be consequences to his actions.

Yeah the iPhone sold well before 3.0, but after it let developers write custom apps, its worth really shined.

Actually, Apple starting letting developers write custom apps starting with 2.0.

Logic fail. How does "a man is is word" make an "assumption" about the poster? Where, in fact, was the poster referenced at all?

Weather, Calc and Stocks don't run in the background.

No, I guess they don't.
But the clock does and for that app it's vital that it run in the background. Otherwise you couldn't do anything else once you'd set an alarm.

You must be the first person I've ever encountered who cared for the Stocks app. 🙂 As others have said, if you care for stocks, there are better apps in the App Store.

I'm bummed about the weather app, as I do get a lot of use out of that one. The calculator, too. Still, I don't envisage ever being anywhere without my iPhone, so I can make do.

The iPad will most likely come with 3.2 but there's no way to know if it will be released for iPhone/iPod touch at the same time.
