How do you know how big it is when it's not out for download?
I wishWhoops didn't notice that... I thought you had a secret link or something.
That's all on you though. Get some more interesting friends. Complaining here won't help...
So... when the hell is iTunes 10 gonna be available???
I really do not understand the logic in changing the orientation of the "traffic lights ".
Very odd decision.
I bet something's wrong with the new iTunes 10, and now Apple's army of engineers are debuggggPing ittoday........

This. Social networking crap has gotten out of control, now they're trying to put it in my media player. For me, Ping is a completely ridiculous and unnecessary addition to iTunes. What a disappointment...![]()

They are probably waiting for the iTunes setup files to propagate to all their mirrors worldwide so the mad rush to download doesn't break their servers
Microsoft did that whenever they seeded a new build of Win7 and Vista when I was beta testing those.
That would be cool.Well, give it a month or two, and Apple marketing will pull some nobody out of their hat, that has sold millions of copies of his song thanks to PING.
Just think about the feature - used GarageBand to create the song, put it up on iTunes and then all of a sudden, thanks to PING, it's the new record selling one-hit-wonder.![]()
Thats the same exact size as the linked 9.2.1 download![]()

It's very Quicktime X like and I'm not sure I like that logo either.
I am surprised people comment about iTunes not looking like the rest of the OS every year. It never has, not from version 1.0 when it was brushed metal.
From the screenshots the volume control is straight from iPad, the traffic lights were not doubt position there to fit better with the mini player and reduce the height of the toolbar. The icons look prettier, but it may not make it easier to use as people often use colour as a clue. The buttons on the bottom are chiselled in to the toolbar, again ala iPad, which looks swish, but you don't touch them (unless you are on Windows 7) and they no longer look like clickable buttons.
Apple has used to to experiment with new UI ideas, like Coverflow.
