So the only thing NEW in this update is the "store login fix"?
Because everything else mentioned was already in the last version, those are not new things.

Often with bug fixes, the information from the last feature update is included, so I've noticed, even if it isn't 'new'. This is normal, it's happened many times. :apple:

Volume Scroll

Wish they would bring back the ability to scroll the volume regardless if the window (or miniplayer) was active or not. I miss that feature. Instead they have a handle to scrub through the song. That's preferred over scrolling the volume? :-/

Like any iTunes update, also be prepared for an Apple TV update soon..

Particularly, around WWDC. maybe also an IOS update ...

No more constantly asking for my password!! I am so happy :D

Also, love the new mini-player that was introduced in the last update.

I can scroll the volume using the trackpad if I hover over the volume bar, and I can also scrub through the song if I hover over that. Even if the window is not active.

I have (had? now that the update is out) this problem where when I have multiple App updates in iTunes, it would update the first app, but forget to update the remaining 2+ apps.

software updates for 10.8.4 and this itunes update could've all been bundled with 10.9... just saying.

10.9 didn't arrive until October. Just saying.

That bug didn't get fixed until 2015.

I don't think I'll be updating to this anytime soon, I'm still on iTunes 10.

I'm still on iTunes 12.

I don't grasp this new functionality regarding the improved Songs View. Could someone explain?

Took me forever to figure this out, but here it is:

Go to Music > Songs.

You'll see all your music with no artwork.

Press Command + J:

[ •*] Show Artwork
[ •*] Always show

For those who had experienced these bugs, it was a big annoyance, and I am glad to see this update get released, so it is indeed good news for some.

I still can't believe it took 11 versions of iTunes to allow multi-disc albums to show up as one track list. Do you know how long it took to merge 34 gigs of 3-Disc Live Phish albums? WAY TOO MF'n LONG.
