Apple Releases iTunes 11.0.4 with Improved Syncing and iTunes Store Sign-in Fix

And you know very well that that's just marketing speak. Or a canned text, if you will. Especially seeing that this particular version does not actually come with ANY new features, only one bug fix.

Given how Apple tend to count features, I wouldn't be so sure there aren't any new features.

And considering the size of iTunes, I would be surprised if they didn't include for example some minor modifications introduced too late to be part of the previous release.

my song count is just above 54,000 and running on a samsung SSD iTunes still lags with this update.

I use iTunes exclusively for music and podcasts. If it weren't for the iOS apps there I would say it's just for managing media.

All of my Movies and Tv shows are in less compressed formats on other drives being managed by PLEX of course.

Really glad to see the login issue fixed.

Took me forever to figure this out, but here it is:

Go to Music > Songs.

You'll see all your music with no artwork.

Press Command + J:

[ •*] Show Artwork
[ •*] Always show

In the search field, click the little magnifying glass.

Uncheck the option "Search Entire Library".

Now your search is back to the way it used to be and should be.

Lower Left Album Art Pane Still Missing

Still waiting for the album artwork pane to return in the lower left, until then I'm sticking with iTunes 10

Yup. Still waiting on this as well. It's not like there's anything else going on in that corner anyway. Just bring back the feature!
