Genius gave you horrible recommendations for stuff that wasnt even related to what you wanted, DJ let you choose what was coming up next.

You appear to be right, if the .rsrc file in the package contents is anything by which to judge. Wonder what's so important in those 11.8 MB that Apple couldn't or wouldn't change?

5 minutes in and I absolutely hate it! Its as if its geared toward cloud people. I dont use the cloud, I refuse to use the cloud and I am being punished for it. None of my playlists work, I cant find any of my music, videos are out of order. What the hell did apple do? I have never had a problem like this with any of my previous iTunes updates.

and where is my column browser? I dont want to see screenshots, I dont want to see album covers, I hate cover flow. Under videos under music I cant see artists. I see an image and a song name. No album name, no artist name, no play count, nothing. Why cant I get column browser.

Apple, you really goofed up big time on this one at least to me. Its junk. Anyone know if I can go back?

sorry if this is looked at as a noob question, but itunes is always hanging up on me even after the 11 update...how can i completely remove itunes and anything else that is bundled with it and reinstall it

It's the classic dumbing down of their computer software to match the simplistic dumbed down iOS software.

Not to mention they crippled the ability to have an interactive useful iTunes DJ like component and got rid of the awesome cover flow.

Its 1 app, I still enjoy my other apple products. I just want to go back to the last version. I enjoyed it much better. This new version is unusable to me. I cant find anything.

The 64 bit is only for the usb drivers and services and the miniplayer. The software and everything else is x86

It may have not been broken in the meaning of the word, but it's ridiculous to say it wasn't in need of an improvement.

Also, all of you saying iTunes 5 was the best looking iTunes yet. I guarantee if iTunes 11 was exactly like iTunes 5, you'd all still be complaining about how it's not 'new' or what you wanted.

When you say 'it' do you mean the interface or functionality? Because personally I didn't think the interface was in need of an improvement at all. If they're going through this trouble of updating the interface why don't they give me the option to increase font sizes in list view? That would impress me a lot more than an interface redesign. I'm not saying it's bad but as you can tell I prefer functionality improvements over interface adjustments ... luckily this update did come with some functionality improvements.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't iTunes DJ still there, but it's now the Up Next feature?

Other than that- I'm pleased with my experience with 11 so far. And I'm glad Apple included Snow Leopard support for it.

you can only get the column browser under the songs button. All the others give you no other option than their way.

The redesign of the Library is blowing my mind! The color scheme on each individual album is too cool, it feels like its featured or something. The store has a completely different feel- and I love it. It all feels way ahead of it's time. Well done Apple, Well done.
