This is excellent, excellently news. The beginning of the end off iTunes bloat! Be gone!

But seriously, why are audiobooks even there still?

Did they remove internet radio from this too?! JFC!

Edit: I guess it's under Music -> Library ->Internet Radio. Is there a way to add it to the drop down?

I guess Apple would rather 100% of people get better performance at the expense of 1% of total users who used that outdated functionality.
“Outdated functionality”, do you have any clue what I was talking about? In what was that outdated?
And you seem a bit aggressive for someone who agreed with the change, but wants the functionality in another application.

How does one sync documents... I use iTunes to sync about 30GGB of books/comics to my iPad. How does that sync happen now?

I assume you still see the Apps tab on your device, when it's attached. I wonder if they improved the app manager/arranger aspect, which has always been clunky at best, but still 100x better than trying to organize a hundred apps on the device itself.

Great, I used to store IOS apps on my mac and was perfect the way it was. Now, I will probably have to spend a good 30, 40 minutes downloading all the apps I am currently using on my iphone instead of choosing them from my mac and syncing directly. Not to mention, how will I sync custom ringtones to my iPhone?

Hmm, I wonder how I can get my old, now gone apps onto devices? The only copy of Boardz I have is not downloadable anymore, even as a purchase which is strange.

Edit: you can drag them onto the device, even though there's no App icon. So they removed the UI but kept the functionality, interesting.

I don't see it yet in Australia. Is anyone else from Australia able to download it?

EDIT: It popped up just as I posted this comment.

Does it add Flac Support now? It seems that iPhone 7 and up now support flac playback with iOS 11, but there is no way to put them in. Hope this enables it.

So, if you want to download an app to both your iPhone and iPad, you've now got to download it twice? Hopefully, as noted above, iTunes still keeps copies locally.

What of switching stores? The iOS 11 App Store doesn't offer any means to switch accounts, seemingly locking it to the account specified in the system preferences. Presumably that's now (for now?) got to be accomplished in the iTunes Store.

No, there's already a setting to download all new apps to all your iOS devices no matter what device you initiated it on.
