It's good, I like the UI of the program overall. However it seems like most of the updates to the store, except for the top bar, haven't taken effect yet.

i doubt they'll ever have anything like that built-in to be honest.

there's other file sync solutions that can do that for you now easily tho.

yeah... I know...
I just like when Apple builds stuff like that right into the application.
Ya know... that whole "it just works" thing...

at long last arrange apps via iTunes, the new 3.1 took some time to download but updated without any problems. love the new iTunes 9 and the new look interface while downloading etc. :apple:

Me too. (Downloads progress now shows in the main progress bar, for those still waiting on the DMG)

Itunes 9 for those that just sold their 2nd Generation iPod Touch :D hah.

Well hopefully the 16GB Touch that has somehow gone missing will have a camera around christmas time.

Because I am bored.

iTunes Media organization?

Anyone have details on the "iTunes Media organization" feature (under File, Library, Library Organization) Is that new? Anyone know what it does? My computer with the massive library is at home my computer at work doesn't have much on it.

Hmm...seems I've painted myself into a corner. I download itunes 9 and iphone 3.1 at the same time. Now to install itunes 9, I need to quit itunes, but itunes is still downloading iphone 3.1 (73 min remaining on my slow college network.)

I guess I'm waiting.

The new white background looks really awful, and for some strange reason it completely neglects the "Disc |x| of |y|" tag.. my 2 disc albums are ****ed up... what were they thinking?!

When I saw the home sharing, I thought... "Finally!"

But then I was thinking, what about between accounts on the same computer? Right now, there are a few ways to either share everything, including apps, ratings, but playlists, but it's not exactly elegant... and over time I've realized that I want to share most, but not all of this information. In fact, I've gone back to simply syncing both iPhones to one user account.

Will this feature make this better? If so, will I still have to duplicate all the music (copy?) or is it smart enough to "just work".

We'll see.

I think that is just the "Consolidate Library" function with a different name.
