YUCK!

This new lighter theme is hideous. And once again the iTunes windows don't match the rest of OS X, especially the inactive iTunes window.

Thanks Apple

Genre colum back in browser view.

Genre column has been forced back in top browser view.

The old pref to disable it doesn't work.

Anyone know how to get rid if it?

have started downloading iphone 3.1 os n have noticed that the playback bar at the top also now displays time remaining for the download, not a huge thing, but a neat one all the same ;-)

No, itunes media organization is something new

I turned it on, and it reorganized my itunes music folder. Music, TV shows and Movies are now separate. Also, there is now a folder called "Automatically Add to iTunes". I confirmed any files copied to that folder get automatically added to itunes and removed from the folder.

I can't wait to try this on my huge movie collection at home.

The file size from the the link above was 22.4MB compared to the 82.8MB file size I got from clicking on the download link on the itunes website. Sooooo.... what's the difference? Is that the correct link above?

it worked for me...

Strangely, with the same 80MBish installer, it takes 200something MB of space on my intel Snow Leopard MBP and 32ish MB on my Leopard G5...?

Why?

No blue-ray support? Many like me had hoped for it :(

+1

As for someone who mentioned how they would do that without having Blu-ray drives on Mac's, my Mac Pro has a Blu-ray drive in the bottom slot. Physical data is burned which is great for backing up libraries. Final Cut also support Blu-ray. Apple is releasing new iMacs soon, adding Blu-ray drives as an option to Double-Layer drives isn't a big deal, just add the option. Having to boot into Windows 7 to watch Blu-ray media is a slap in the face to OS X users. C'mon Apple, Blu-ray will not eat into your iTunes sales, iTunes media doesn't even compare to Blu-ray quality.

question about itunes LP ????

itunes lp (like apple call to my more request feautre to itunes over years):

how store the itunes lps content, like covers?
are a external file?
Is possible download just the lp arts? If yes... so is possible embed to my music?
no more pdf booklets?
the arts are the arts of original lp or the cd art... (american beauty g. dead example...)

a lot questions for me, I want see it!!!!!

by the way, music on apple store WHY not apple lossless! I dont buy any song! of lossy formats...

I like the direction for the new iTunes store, but it seems like too much is presented on the home screen. It may look better on my iMac at home, but on my 13.3" macbook, everything looks crammed. I'm going to miss the old store layout

First impression?

Why, for the love of God, did Apple remove the dark background on the grid view and replace it with bright white?

It looks SO out of place.

Haha. Just tried it. Pro Tip: Don't check the consolidate box too when you do this, otherwise it will leave the old folders and everything will be in there twice. Then you have to mop up manually. :)

NEVERMIND.

Apple finally wised up and gives us the option of the columns to see:
