That's the one on the list I've actually noticed. It happened so much I was starting to think they'd one it on purpose as some kind of cool effect.
They used to include RAW image updates with the OS. I guess they don't anymore. Does anyone know if they typically release a raw update coincident with an OS update? Or are they completely separate now?
I've been waiting for D300s support for over two months now

Dang it!
Widemail never got updated to Snow Leopard so I switched to Letterbox. Now 10.6.2 boots it out!

Yeah, the only difference is 10.5.1 wasn't as crippled as 10.6.1.
I don't care how many feature bugs there are when comparing to the single most absolutely inexcusable problem in 10.6.1. A bug that actually erased every single piece of data on your hard drive is far worse than a couple of features not working.lol how soon people forget
10.5.1 was bad

That can happen when you get a bit too excited about an OS update...

This is probably just something weird on my end, but after the update, nothing in the upper-right portion of my menubar is displaying, with the exception of dropbox. Meaning my clock, the fast user switch icon, spotlight icon, none of those are showing up. I ran a permissions verify/repair, still the same issue. Additionally, when I go to the Date/Time System Pref, the option to show the clock is unchecked, and when I try to check it, it shows up for a blink, then goes right back to unchecked.... tried creating a new admin user and even a standard user, but it's still not showing up.
My next thought is to try a permission check when booting off the dvd once I get home from work, but does anyone else have any suggestions before that?
btw, I don't do any modifications like resource themes or dock themes.... everything is standard.
Did they fix the flash problem?
Lol, you honestly think that a couple of feature bugs are worse than losing pretty much every single piece of information on your hard drive? That's funny.
Same here. Combo update download get throttled back BIG TIME!

It would have been a new atrocity, but Apple has no problem dropping software that is a couple years old.someone else said:It did seem like an odd rumor that they would remove support for machines only a couple years old.
I'm back on Leopard. Going to wait and see how 10.6.2 goes in the next week or so. I'll only update once it is stable.
