I don't see it mentioned yet in this thread, so i'll double my previous post by pointing out that eleven security fixes in 10.6.3 (as well as Security Update 2010-002 for Leopard 10.5.8) came courtesy of working with TippingPoint's Zero Day Initiative. Rather timely i'd say... as that Pwn2Own contest was held barely 5 days prior to this 10.6.3 release.

In the immortal words of Derrick Story:
"Use as defaults" will only affect folders that aren't already set to some customized view. If you want a customized view to adopt the current default, then press the option key to make the 'Use as Defaults' button change to 'Restore to Defaults' before clicking it.When I change a Finder's View Options and click "use as defaults" it does NOT use as defaults with other folders. I notice it mostly applies to the folders ABOVE my home folder. If I set my home folder to have a green background in icon view, and click "use as defaults" then restart, ONLY top-most folders are effected. /, /Users, /Users/Cheeto and the "folder" that contains /.
As demonstrated by the statistics that show that 5 to 6.5 times more people are using Windows 7 alone than are using 10.6.
Agreed. As if the measure of OS quality is some sort of popularity contest. No *****.While one has to acknowledge that some postings of blind mac"fanboy-ism" can be annoying and it is good to give some contra once in a while to keep the discussions somewhat balanced, I also find that statements like these borderline silly. Trying too hard comes to my mind, which is equally annoying
