"resolve an issue that may prevent some Adobe Creative Suite 3 applications from opening"

Thanks Apple. Only took you 3 years.

It seems they are beginning to add TRIM support.

This is on my Intel G2 SSD.

Anyone else have problems with dropbox after the update? I'm not connected and it says it can't secure a connection. Trying to figure this out now, but does anyone have an idea?

Just installed 10.6.4, Dropbox seems to be working fine.

On a different note, 10.6.4 updates mail.app. If you have GrowlMail installed you get a message saying that the plug-in is not compatible and that it will be disabled.

Check your system preferences. I'm almost certain that you can disable the automatic switching.

It's possible that I'm missing something obvious, but I don't see the option to which I was referring. One can disable automatic switching, but this essentially means that the Nvidia (discrete) card is always on. What I (and many others) want official support for is to disable switching and select the intel card for everything (to extend battery life).

It seems like 10.6.4 adds some more SSD support. :)

Under 10.6.3, my 13" MacBook Pro (2010 model) identified the SSD drive correctly, but iMac did not.

Now, under 10.6.4, my iMac 27" also correctly identifies the drive as Solid State, but still says "No" to TRIM support, just like the MBP. Hopefully 10.6.5 will bring Trim support as well.

Check out the attached image.
Hellooo!!! That's great news, a mention of TRIM support in System Profiler!

Read this page to see if your drive might have properly working TRIM support: http://translate.google.com/transla...94/page7.html&rurl=translate.google.com&twu=1

Your (stevemr123) drive has absolutely no need of TRIM support as it doesn't suffer from any performance degradation at all. You wouldn't notice the difference.

Unfortunately I have a drive with a flawed TRIM implementation.

Hmmm...

I was looking forward to the fix to Iphoto (when editing full screen it corrupts.)

I downloaded this with great expectations. Loaded iPhoto tried to edit a RAW file and my screen corrupted and the whole system hung... Had to do a hard reboot...

I'm a tad disappointed...

Installed with no hassle. No issue apparent thus far. Is is me or has the forum reply page been er...grayed
