Hmmm...

I was looking forward to the fix to Iphoto (when editing full screen it corrupts.)

I downloaded this with great expectations. Loaded iPhoto tried to edit a RAW file and my screen corrupted and the whole system hung... Had to do a hard reboot...

I'm a tad disappointed...

And on trying to repeat that, it did it again... 2 attempts, 2 crashes...

Anyone else tried editing RAW's in IPhoto?

Size of the update.... Too big

I just ran the Software Update on my MBP 13 2.4GHz 2010, it is 641.1MB...... that's huge!

VmwareFusion

is running much better now. My fans are not spinning like crazy now. I love it!

Combo Updater fails. Console has the usual stuff....

"The operation couldn\U2019t be completed. Too many open files in system\"";\n PKInstallPackageIdentifier = "com.apple.pkg.update.os.10.6.4.combo";\n}
:(
Maybe I'll be lucky. What's with the palette swap on MacRumors?

One Decade!

Ah great, a huge download like this will definitely improve the server load

Everyone except you knows, that Apple distributes software updates, video and audio files over high performance third party networks, like akamai or edgesuite. Apple does this now over a decade, so that means you had > 10 years to find this out for yourself.

Btw, these networks have high performance "caches" in nearly every country worldwide, so that you never download from Apple directly.

I could care less.

Yes, I'm a smartass. Why do you ask?

So, you care a lot:

Updated my "Early 2008" multitouch pre-unibody 15" Macbook Pro without issue. Downloaded the update in under a minute.

Anyone else have problems with dropbox after the update? I'm not connected and it says it can't secure a connection. Trying to figure this out now, but does anyone have an idea?

I see no difference with regard to DropBox.

You guys complaining about slow download speeds are lucky. Anyone else have a "Can't even find the server" message? So far, I've tried 3 times -- same result.

Was hoping for "inertial scrolling" to be added to my MacBookPro5,5. Maybe next time!

Everything so far seems to be running normally after the update.

Sorry. Had a wind tunnel G5 on the bench all day. These things get to you.

Hmmmm.... are you qualified to use the word aye? Which part of North Britain do you come from?

I say aye from time to time and I was born and raised in South Texas. I have no idea where I picked it up. Maybe it was from watching Strange Brew numerous times at an impressionable age.

I wish people could comprehend that. You look like a complete idiot when you say "I could care less."

Anyway. The first 100-150MB downloaded in a minute or less. The last 150 or so has taken 45 minutes. A perfect end to a ****** Apple day..

As far i know iPhone doesn't support RAW, it just convert it to jpg. You must use Aperture or Lightroom.

Hmmm..... i suppose that is okay.

I often spend Sunday afternoons strolling around in my cowboy hat with my thumbs in my belt loops and looking like i have tennis balls in my armpits. I guess that makes us even.

Continue using the word!

Did they bring back nested sorting functionality in stacks?

Did they fix the iTunes dashboard widget?

Good to hear of SMB improvements; at least they eventually fix some stuff that they break to begin with :).

I'm running in boot camp today so I'll find out that the answers to my questions are 'no' later on.

This is what I am looking forward to. 315mb for me. Mac Pro 2008
