Every time I tried to download an app so far.
Guess everything's not fully up yet.
Oh, this is in the US App Store btw.

Very nice and very excited about the new app store. Glad to see Apple taking one of the things I loved about shopping with Adobe and making it 10x better.
I would also love to get some of that ultra compact toolbar action in the app store, shoved into Safari and other apps.

If it gives you an error, turn the whole computer off and on again. It's working for me now after not working before.
Off and on. Works.
Of note - Aperture is in the App Store, but none of the Final Cut products are - no Express, no Pro, no Studio.

Aperture is going to turn into the upsell of the century for Apple at this price.

You do realize how pointless the Final Cut Studio would be to download, right? It's ~60GB. I wouldn't want to even waste my time downloading it even on my fast connection.
So Leopard 10.5 users aren't invited to this party either...unless we pay to upgrade to SL. Hurrumph!
does anybody know why they decided to not integrate it into iTunes? Would be a one store stop for all the digital shopping needs (and iTunes should anyway be renamed since it is already more than just tunes)
One thing I don't appreciate is every app I install going into my dock. I like Angry Birds, but not enough to have it in my dock. Same goes for Twitter. I wonder if there is/will be an option to customize this? I guess Lion will have the Mission Control feature so maybe it will stop doing this.
OK.. this Mac App Store is a bad thing. It's way too easy for me to open my wallet now!Just bought Angry Birds and Flight Control HD. If I'm not careful, I'll spend all my money here!
Smart marketing move by.
Same in the UK store for me. It also didn't realise I already had Stuffit Expanderbut then since it's free, I don't mind a re-download to get it 'handled' by the store.

No iWork '11 in sight. Sigh.
Also, I noticed that the App Store recognized that I have iLife 11 already installed on my Mac, but it doesn't recognize I have iWork 09 installed. Interesting.
Is it actually installing the app to the Application folder, but putting a shortcut to the dock, or does it install apps completely different?
