For crying out loud! I checked for this update and discovered that I am STILL receiving beta updates despite removing myself from the program SEVERAL times. I am so over this!
Do you have still have the developer copy or beta OS installed? If so you have to erase and reformat your storage drive then install the GM. Removing yourself from the program doesn't stop updates if you still have the beta OS.

I hope that there are some internal changes that just weren't written about in the change log... My feeling is that 11.2 on the M1 works a bit worse than the previous version. I see a lot of errors in the console. It feels like there is a slump in graphical performance.
I am on M1 Air what kind of problems you getting ... mine seems to be working fine , just sometimes I find scrolling through safari lags a bit

Downloaded faster than 11.2 so either Apple is listening to feedback or got lucky and got ahead of the crowd. Hopefully it fixes palm rejection which is the biggest of the bugs for me.

Update: Didn't fix palm rejection. Still can move mouse cursor with both meaty parts of my palm.

Crazy timing - this just happened to me last night for the first time! Woke up with my computer plugged in and only at 30%! 2016 MacBook Pro with touchbar.

You'd hear the MBP making the sound that it's charging after plugging in the USB-C but it really doesn't. It's been sporadic but sometimes just replugging in would work, if you noticed it.

What is the point of these updates that target specific models? Why not just release them for those specific models?

Yeah, Safari now have lags when scrolling. Some apps opening a bit slower. By the way - computer works very fast. I’m speaking only about UI and some little strange things.

Also I see a lot of repeating SMC and CVMServer error in the console and there is no way now to fix this.

On the topic: the 11.2.1 update was placed within 20-25 minutes on MBP M1.

I've seen this problem in previous major OS releases (Mojave) - what's the likelihood that they'd release a supplemental update for those OS's?

I do not have a public beta copy installed. Reformatting to remove yourself is absolutely STUPID.
First of all, Calm Down. I never suggested for you to reformat your drive to remove you from the program. I asked first if you had the beta or developer copy of Big Sur installed. IF you did then that might be the reason for you getting beta updates. At that point a reformat would be necessary. I don't appreciate the insulting tone.

Has the App Store installer app for Big Sur updated from 11.2 to 11.2.1 ? Sometimes it gets updated, but it does not say it does.

A 2,43GB update for a charging issue which doesn't even affect my 2019 Mac? What's the big idea? There's not even the typical vague "improvements" bullet point in the description. Buzz off, Apple.

My system had the public beta RC3 installed, it was the same build as the final release. I "un-enrolled" from the beta program and now 11.2.1 is downloading.
