About 1 hr 20 minutes to download and update. Update part is just as slow it makes me think the 256GB M1 has slow eMMC storage.

I did too. Two displays....one went insane will flickering bars, on an M1 MacMini. The other one went black for a long time. I suppose I should have waited it out but the flickering didn't seem right.

Does it resolve the issue where the Bluetooth is dropping packets when using Bluetooth speaker with Magic Mouse and Magic Keyboard? (Intel MacBook Pro 2019)

The speed up when opening some applications is rather noticeable. Though for me it was only a couple that where slow (Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer).

Some nice discovery with version 11.2 and boot time after rebooting a MacBook Air M1: Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer boot in less than 2 seconds (in version 11.1 it took almost 20 - 30 seconds). Adobe Photoshop Beta only took about 3 seconds, and now only 1-2 seconds... Illustrator boot time is less than 5 seconds. Mimestream, a wonderful native Gmail client... less than 1 second! Pages, 1 second. Excel, 2 seconds. Word, 1 second.... its crazy!
Not here. Same slow, 17 bounces before splash screen. Affinity did say they didn't think the problem was theirs and offered a work-around -- make a copy of the app and run that. First time it will be slow, but every time after that, including after restarts, it launches quickly (about 3 bounces for me).

On my 2015 MBP, Photo and Designer launch fresh in about 7-8 bounces every time under 11.2.

It took about an hour to download and install but it's working fine. Too early to tell if I get skipping on Bluetooth speakers and mouse lag on Bluetooth mouse.

Well, I am pretty sick of this new M1 now. I've had continual problems with it not waking from sleep. For over a month. I am set the Mac mini not to sleep and just have the display sleep. Just about every other day, pressing a key wakes the display momentarily (a $2000 NEC monitor) and then the display goes out again.

I'm gonna get this sent back at this rate, I thought the update would sort this but it's even worse.
Considering sending mine back as well. The screen saver issue is driving me crazy and no one is reporting it fixed, so assuming it must still exist.

Updated to 11.2 on my M1 Mac Mini with dual Dell monitors (T3->HDMI, HDMI).

Took roughly 30mins to install. Half way through the install, one of my monitors (T3->HDMI) went black. Around 80% through the install, the other monitor started flickering with blue/white stripes for awhile. That gave me a fright!

But eventually both monitors came back normally as the installation went about and eventually it was a success.
My two Dell’s, one USB-C, one HDMI did the same! I can see why they might go black, but the flickering really led me to believe I was out of luck. Why do these installs have to be so scary?

Biggest issue for me is still terrible palm rejection on MBA M1. Can move the cursor with whole bottom palm while $500 Windows laptop works correctly. And, Xbox One X controller is still black listed. Still have to go through list of other issues.

I downloaded it and I still have that Safari Bookmark menu issue. Am I the only one?
It take a few seconds to draw the website icons and I get a spinning ball before I can go down and click on the bookmark I want. It's ruining the enjoyment of my computer and didn't happen until Big Sur.
I have 2018 Mini with the SSD and 16Gb of RAM

So knock on wood but it looks like 11.2 might fix the wake from sleep down resolution of second display I was seeing. Installed it and did a couple of tests putting the Mac Mini to sleep and waking it up. Both times I tried everything was the correct 2560x1440 60hz waking from sleep with the same dual displays, one HDMI -> HDMI (HP 27"), one USB-C -> DP via OWC Thunderbay 3 DP port (Eizo 27"). Fingers crossed it stays this way!
