No direct download link? Mine is stuck at 42 MB, not downloading after I stopped it.

I tried looking to see if I could delete where it stores temporary downloads but no idea where they are under Catalina or if you can even remove them.

Decided to try the RC2 version as that's all its offering me. 4GB downloaded lightening speed so the Big Sur issues are likely demand rather than local ISP issues.

Think everyone is order sure of that.

How do we even trust the download is complete if it's going in weird spurts like this. Like I feel like I have to wait for issues to be resolved and then wipe the update and download again at this point.

Ok, update, it resumed after being stuck at 42 MB for 5 minutes and now at 500 MB. Pretty decent speeds now.

I'm going to wait for the M1 16" MBP. Should be out by the time the download finishes.

Gonna wait on my 2018 MB Pro (15 inch). First too slow and i spend more time on iPhone and IPad at home. Second I just got my last major backup to the MBP of my trusty 11 ProMax. My 12 ProMax arrives tomorrow with 14.1 iOS installed so my 11 ProMax is at 14.1 also. I until before apple one had 5 GB of iCloud so always do my iPhone backups to my MBP. So I need my MBP available tomorrow for the restore to new phone first to get that done then wait a day or two more and see how Big Sur update goes before I jump LOL
