Hi, I have tried your terminal command and I get this message "Scanning for 11.0.1 installer Install failed with error: Update not found"

Any ideas? the update is there if I choose the mac store route

Thanks
My advice would be to keep trying the command. If you are still on Catalina, it should work. If you are on the Big Sur betas, it won't work.

I'm now passed the halfway mark! 56% on the terminal!

Code:
REDACTED@REDACTED ~ % sudo softwareupdate --fetch-full-installer --full-installer-version 11.0.1

Is this burst pattern download also an AMAZING feature?

I'm downloading it using the curl command we use at work. IF it works, no need to use wget

Ah! the warm fuzzies! Still remember my first boxed OS X upgrade - the box for Panther looked like it meant BUSINESS! The checkout girl at PC World (UK equivalent to Best Buy) took one look at the box and asked 'What is THAT?'

Ah, yes, plunking down $150 for the family pack version for my two computers. :😁:
