Where do I tell it to sort my 64 bit, I don't see that option anywhere?

At the top of the list of applications, you have all the names for each column. Just click the one that says "64 bit" and it will sort all the 64 bit apps to the top (or the end).

I was gonna ask about this, got apps like HandBrake which I use daily that are 32bit and might not be rewritten in 64bit. Might be stuck with Mojave for some time yet.

You may have an old version of handbrake.

I used the latest version 1.2.2 (which is 64 bit) yesterday on the Catalina GM and it worked OK.

All done. Let Mojave download the update but didn't install. CCC backup, then booted from the backup drive. From there I formatted the MBP SSD in disk utility, then ran the Catalina setup. When asked if I wanted to restore data I selected the CCC backup drive and let it do its thing. Took about an hour in the end. It's sorting my photos at the moment, but things are looking good so far.

MacBook Pro 15 (BOT: 2.9 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i9, 32 GB 2400 MHz DDR4, Radeon Pro Vega 20). Downloaded today (took around 35 minutes). Initiated installation set up and left the MacBook Pro on its own. Returned back after 50 minutes. Enter log in password. Went through after installation prompts and the MacBook Pro is ready for use. In System preferences in Apple ID entered password for iCloud, entered unlock password for the MacBook Pro, entered unlocks passcode for iPhone. That's it. On the Desktop appeared alia folder: Relocated items. Inside the folder there is one folder Security and pdf file "What Are Relocated Items?" (Attached one is in jpeg file in order to upload to the chat).
That's it. Catalina work flawlessly.

Do Excel and Powerpoint work on Catalina?
It works without any issues!

Staying nice and clear of this update for now. Apple recent track record with new software releases has been pretty embarrassing, and based on the feedback for Catalina, nothing has changed. Welcome to the new Apple Beta program. I bet you didn't even know you signed up for it!

I have tons of audiobooks in iTunes (m4B's). Can someone point me to an article or info about where the audiobooks will go after updating?

Where the hell have all my audiobook MP3s gone? They've disappeared!?!!?!?!?

I didn't have any audiobooks, but aren't they migrated into the Books app > Library > Audiobooks?

Edit: As you noticed... :)

So the purpose of this update is to shake out all the old applications to get us ready for iPad OS running OSX in "The Cloud" via subscription. I am from the future. Oh, and Tim Apple is still head of Apple, which is now "Apple Services Co"

The Catalina installer lets you know. But you can also generate a system report from “About this Mac”. The software section lists whether apps are 32-bit or 64-bit.
Thanks for this tip. Adobe CS6 (the last version you could buy rather than rent) is one that isn't supported.

There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

I haven't updated to Catalina yet as I still have Microsoft Office 2011 running (well) under Mojave. My other concern is Aperture which Apple claims won't run under Catalina. However, everything I've seen declares Aperture to be 64-bit. Has anyone attempted launching Aperture under Catalina? Thx.

I will say this one more time. There is NO column labeled "64 bit" I have "Application name, version, obtained from, last modified" THAT'S IT, nothing more even if I move the columns over. There is NOTHING to the right of Last Modified which is the last column!!!!!

Do you have "Kind" selected ??

https://www.macworld.com/article/3393161/how-to-find-out-if-your-mac-software-is-32-or-64-bit.html - search for "Find 32-bit apps on your Mac through Activity Monitor" on the page, for more details.

Calm down. This is what it looks like for me, that's all I know. macOS Mojave 10.14.6.

If you're running Catalina, there wouldn't be any need for a column stating whether an application is 32 or 64-bit. Doesn't the install process quarantine non-compatible applications (i.e. 32-bit)? I think that's why the column no longer exists.
