Apple servers must be overloaded. Took over and hour to download on a 100 mbps router.

Hope this finally works with my 2013 machine. Nothing but problems back in October. Has it showed up in the App Store for anyone yet? Really wanna try it on a partition, but there's no way to make a portable installer yet.

It appears 10.13.6 kills Aperture. Anyone else experience this?

Also, now iTunes sees my Homepods as a stereo pair, but when I try to play to them AND my computer at the same time (selecting multiple outputs under "Computer"), the wonderful ecosystem doesn't let me. It appears to be a bluetooth problem. My stereo pair Homepods are likely not in bluetooth range of my Mac. my AppleTVs now don't work for the same reason. They used to. Seriously, Apple? This is pathetic.

Well....unless there's going to be a 10.13.7, this will be the version I upgrade my Sierra Mac to just before Mohave is released. I hope it's solid, since I'll be running it for the next year.

I see what you're doing, but can you specify why you'd bother with HS at all, especially at this point? For myself, I'll be staying on Sierra until Mojave reaches perhaps .3, then we're see.

Is the combo update a full installer that I can make a USB installer from?

No, they never are. Can't be. Think about it.

The MAS updated as usual, but there is NO ability to select download for a copy of the full installer.

Why not?

This is the longest I've ever gone with updating the OS, still on Sierra.
Does anyone have a mid 2011 Mac Mini and has done the update? Does it run OK?
I have 8Gb RAM and a regular 5200 rpm hard drive

when I updated showed me the option for 10.13.6 but after the update all I see is the itunes updates however my macos version remains as 10.13.5 what could be the problem? When I check the app store all I see available is 10.13.5

This is new...

You do realize that they'd probably ruin it right? iTunes is still great for people who have their own large music library. Any iTunes redesign will probably focus on Apple Music and leave us collectors in the dirt.

Don't use iTunes for a music collection. Use Plex, it runs fine on a Mac too, but I have dedicated a Linux server to it.

Any new RAW Digital Camera updates? I'm wondering specifically about the Panasonic LUMIX DMC-GX9.

I’m sad if this is the case. But happy I switched to the new cloud Lightroom CC earlier this year. I never could get my head around ‘old’ lightroom but the new one is similar enough to Aperture that I like it.

Normally I upgrade to the update release, every other OS. For my fusion drive macs that are still on El Capitan should I just forget about High Sierra or uograde to HS and forget about fusion drive? Probably not upgrading to Mojave immediately.

Unfortunately, this is par for the course for Apple these days. I've lost all faith in their operating systems.

Anyone else having iTunes (12.8.0.150) sync/device recognition issues with their iPhone X devices on public betas? Everything was working great until I updated MacOS (and iTunes), then when connecting my device I got the "A software update is required to connect to iPhone", then upon attempting an install I get a "can't install software because it is not available on the software update server error" message.

Nobody seems to have found traces of new Mac models in this build (I guess we would know by now), so maybe the “5 new Macs” are not coming so soon... maybe there’s a 10.13.7 in the horizon.

Yes. I have 2.7 GHz i7, 16 GB RAM, a homemade Fusion drive, and AMD Radeon HD 6630 w 256 MB.

10.3.5 runs fine. I'll wait at least a few days before installing the update. My work requires the MS suite; can't upgrade sooner (even if I wanted to) until I'm sure MS is ready.
