I have the beta and I'm not seeing the release. Yes, I removed the beta profile.Nope. It is 21D49 whereas the RC was 21D48.
That’s my intention as well, I’m planning to update my 2014 Mac mini (one of the the oldest devices supported by Monterey) with 12.2, if the general consensus agrees that it is already stable enough.happy upgrading ... might upgrade my iMac from Big Sur with this one ...
It just showed up on my M1 MBA running 12.2 RC.I have the beta and I'm not seeing the release. Yes, I removed the beta profile.
With beta version installs, is it possible to move seamlessly back to the standard public version without having to clean install or lose in app data etc?I have the beta and I'm not seeing the release. Yes, I removed the beta profile.
Depends On what you’re moving from and to.With beta version installs, is it possible to move seamlessly back to the standard public version without having to clean install or lose in app data etc?
Should come with the AppKit version of Apple Music
It is there
Tried this? https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201716I hope this fixes spotlight, it's been unusable for us.
Okay cool thx. I was thinking about ease of migration from a current beta to public release ("forwards") rather than current beta to current public release ("backwards").Depends On what you’re moving from and to.
Going from 12.2 beta to 12.2 public release is a relatively seamless process.
However, going from something like 12.2 beta back to 12.1 public is a lot more complicated
I’ve been running the beta on my MBA M1 for over 6 months with no stability issues whatsoever, only bug I experienced was touchpad sensitivity one that was fixed a month or so agoThat’s my intention as well, I’m planning to update my 2014 Mac mini (one of the the oldest devices supported by Monterey) with 12.2, if the general consensus agrees that it is already stable enough.
I thought 12.2 was bringing a fully native music app? My most anticipated software release ever, solely to fix the Apple Music bug that causes the screen to jump around your playlist every time you edit, rate or delete a song.
it is like when you pay that amount of cash for a laptop, especially from apple, M1...anyway, you want to benefit from everything that machine has to offer, in this case, 120hz scrolling. They didn't put the option by mistake thoughI don't really understand why there's so much fuzz about Safari? Like, did you all buy a $4000 M1 Max so you can watch Safari scroll at 120 Herz? Why is it so important?
No the new Music app is there. So wait, no new Music app?![]()
