Does it fix the scrolling issues with mice? I had to revert from 10.12 to El Capitan because of that problem. And no, installing the latest Logitech software didn't fix the problem for me -- it actually made it worse. Reverting back to El Cap did fix the problem, but I'd love to go back to Sierra.

I thought I was the only one with this problem. I also went back to El Cap because it drove me insane, not just scrolling but movement. Also have a Logitech mouse. I don't even know, is there a way to file bug reports with Apple anymore? Or only in betas?

Update installed -- everything is running great.

As for the naysayers and Negative Nancy's in this thread so far, I hope you can someday find and appreciate the positive things in life.

Thanks MacRumors for bringing us the news on the update and thanks Apple for pushing 10.12.1 through so quickly!

Worst case scenario: hold CMD+R on startup, then run an OS repair by selecting 'Reinstall macOS'. Won't affect any user data/applications; it'll just reinstall the core OS components.

Hope this solves the issue.

Depends, if your recovery disk is not up to date it might reinstall the former OS.

There is no need to reinstall, most of the times there are other solutions like a SMC/PRAM reset amongst others.

Ah yeah, I was a bit early to suggest it. Should've clarified the appropriate resets before saying "worst case scenario".

Does this fix the "Safari glitches out randomly" issue? Or just the fact that I can't even load e-bay in Safari anymore?

Well, the credential prompt every time when mounting network shares is still there (the user & pwd are in keychain and the fields in the password dialogue are filled, just needs an OK).

I feel (too) old, remembering the days when OS updates actually brought fixes. Now we get a new smart album into Photos :p

1 year old mac feels like a 10 years old mac, fans got crazy, won't stop, everything is lagging.
DO NOT UPDATE
Not sure if its something local or widespread.

As suggested above by various posters, try:

1) Reset PRAM
2) Reset SMC
3) Restart with 'reopen windows when logging back in' disabled.

...So the headline doesn't really match up with the content of the article. C'mon, MacRumors, I expect more from you than this. The people who read your site are enthusiasts, we'll read the articles that you post about an OS update without you click-baiting us.

Agreed, I love MR but this is a terrible headline meant for nothing more than getting clicks. We have no idea what the new features on the Macs will be until Thursday. Until then, all 10.12.1 is is what we can see today.
