Mac owners can download the software by opening the System Settings app and then navigating to the Software Updates section.

According to Apple's release notes for the update, macOS Tahoe 26.6 includes security fixes for the Mac and it optimizes Spotlight for the release of macOS 27.

120hz option disappeared on Studio Display XDR after update. Stuck on 60hz now. 🙁 EDIT: Worked after reboot screen, but something is wrong. If I reboot my Mac mini M4 Pro with the display connected no 120Hz option appears. I have to unplug and reconnect the monitor to get the 120Hz option back.

Golden Gate & OS 27 in general is a once in a life-time divine intervention OS update.

Seriously. Apple has not been this "locked in" when it comes to an OS update since 2010. I cannot wait for September.
I'd offer "Twice in a Lifetime," from the Snow Leopard era. But yeah... Completely agreed, and this may be the first OS update that I just pull down when it is released (before hitting the .1 revision) in many years.
