I wonder if this fixes the bug (which I've seen numerous other people report-encounter besides myself) where open/save as dialogues would lock to the far left/root in column view ugh.

Some said that they already updated or updating now. That's what is confusing me
As always: just give it some time. These updates show up for different people at different times. Probably so the servers don’t get slammed. It’s only now getting through over here.

Anyone know what this really means, "it optimizes Spotlight for the release of macOS 27"? Are they saying they backported macOS 27 improvements to Spotlight back to macOS 26? Or are they indexing things better under macOS 26 so they don't have to be reindexed under macOS 27?

As MacOS has been reindexing all my data after every update and frankly every other reboot for the past 10+ years, I am trying to figure out what was actually changed in the current version that is somehow going to help the next.

120hz option disappeared on Studio Display XDR after update. Stuck on 60hz now. 🙁 EDIT: Worked after reboot screen, but something is wrong. If I reboot my Mac mini M4 Pro with the display connected no 120Hz option appears. I have to unplug and reconnect the monitor to get the 120Hz option back.
I had the same issue. 120Hz option disappeared after the update, but came back after rebooting the XDR display. The only difference for me is 120Hz has remained as an option even after rebooting my Mini M4 Pro. At least for now....
