How about the Samba problem some people report - is it more than removing the credentials from keychain ?

In ventura 13.2 I still get background items notifications ( "Background Items added")for turned off login items. I have 9!:(
Very annoying! Fix it Apple...
Same here…

Incredibly annoying.

I’m with you. I’m also still rocking OS 12. From what I’m reading in this thread, Ventura must be avoided in all cost.
I wish I had been wiser and not "upgraded".

Broke Universal Control. Or 16.3 on the iPad did...either way, it's enabled and doesn't work...

Scrambled bookmarks here. None lost AFAIK but very much out of order.
Also still getting the "background items added" notifications.
I certainly expected better.

Still cannot set a timed startup or shutdown. Why would Apple remove that?
Likely was little used by businesses or consumers. Another Ventura change was removing time delay for putting a Mac to sleep. Now if you are doing a backup it doesn't go to sleep because of that settings, the backup process needs to complete then it does.

They still offer "Startup up automatically after a power failure" in energy system settings.

They did NOT fix my missing Network and wifi settings. Guess they don't think it's a problem. If I click on Network->Ethernet or Wifi I get the blank pane. If I like on Wi-Fi->Details I get no response from the click. Something is screwed up somewhere and the only suggestion I have NOT tried is backup and then wipe my SDD. Thinking of dragging the 27" desktop to the Genius Bar. Somehow I don't feel like that will be successful.

Try booting your Mac in safe mode to see if its some startup or extension issue.

Working great for me. I can't quite tell if the Discord issue has been fixed, but that's quite an "unimportant issue."

In my experience it was used quite a bit on desktops, but dumb for laptops. Still no reason to remove it.

Oh! The ONLY problem I'm experiencing is not new in 13.2—it was there in Monterey... where Force Click just randomly stops working. Like I can still force click, but it doesn't do anything. That bug is still there. The fix is to either restart the machine and/or turn off/on again the force click option in Trackpad Settings.

Wow. That’s ridiculous.

For me, this issue is better on 13.2 than 13.1 - far fewer unnecessary notifications like the ones in this screenshot. Still annoying.

But not so bad that I regret upgrading to Ventura. Just wish I’d waited longer to do it.

MacOS 13.2 Update just completely F'd my Safari Bookmarks! I just ran the update, opened Safari and found literally thousands of bookmarks and bookmark folders are all out of order. And not only recently added bookmarks, but links that have been set (unchanged order) in folders for years are are suddenly in random chaos order. WTF Apple!!
I've just encountered this same bug after updating to Monterey 12.6.3, so I think it's an issue with the new version of Safari rather than a Ventura thing. Super annoying bug 🤦🏻‍♂️

That did the trick! Thanks for the suggestion!
OK, the display firmware seemed work for a while and then went back down and wouldn't go past 60. I found some posts on reddit mentioning they had this issue in the beta as well. I just reinstalled my mb with Monterey, but back to 144Hz goodness.

Mac Pro update went smooth as silk. Wonder what the beef was with my laptop.

The settings app on Ventura is just plain stupid. It’s not adapted at all to a computer with a mouse keyboard interface. Apple pretending to know what is what in terms of user interface and then slapping a touch optimised app presentation for a desktop computer… macOS the stupidity continues (since macOS lion)
