Thanks. I own ReaddleDocs. I like it.

Okay, so I just looked at all the Apps that Apple made, and it is mostly not surprising (iDisk, Remote, Keynote Remote)
But then, there was some sort of Texas Hold 'em game, that looked very... third party.

Am I the only one to find this odd, if not downright shocking?

This app is so incomplete n bugged out.

1. I can view pictures & cache it but I can't saved them into my gallery. WTF?
2. Item count is continuously wrong
3. I have to enter a folder before it reports the folder as having contents within.

Server not correctly configured???

Me too, after about 20 download attempts and 3 restarts I finally got it installed... I can't even use it :(

My error message reads "The server is not correctly configured" and the only button is one that says "OK"...but it's NOT OK! I want the "It just works" button.

This is discouraging as I finally had my iPhone settings so I could send and receive email from my real ISP, thought I had it all running well...now this silly app...

Anyone have any suggestions for me? The error occurs when it tries to open an m4v movie. Quicktime starts then the error message.

I tried a reset but it didn't make any difference.

Has anyone else had this problem?

online storage -> box.net (only 1GB for free and there's an iPhone app also)
sync - google (calendar, contacts)

Don't get me wrong. I love my iPhone, MobileMe, iMac, Mac Pro, Time Capsule and all the other mac stuff i've bought over the years, but I do think the gys at apple are getting a little soft.

All the hola, then waiting and waiting and waiting for this app that does, well not much. And does rather less then a lot of the other apps in the app store.

Why can't it print to networked printers? Why can't I move files or rename them around to other folders?--other Apps do this.

It seems a bit like 3.0 and "cut-copy and paste" etc saga: Well, great, but it's just doning what it should have been able to do for ages.

iDisk sucks

I have to enter a folder before it reports the folder as having contents within.

This is normal if you try to access iDisk from your laptop as well.

I've been a paying DotMac/Mobile Me user for about four years. My BIGGEST gripe is the limited space you get for $99 a year (like 10GB max), and even worse, they use this slow-arse implementation of WebDav to upload and download files.

There is NO FTP service to iDisk. WebDav always takes like 10 seconds to initiate a transfer.

Mystery solved...

Just in case anyone has similar problems with MobileMe, my problem was a password that was too long. Apparently anything over 20 characters will cause problems but work sometimes. Since I reduced it to a shorter password..."it just works" :D

iDisk users - if you set up this app to access your iDisk files, does it also automatically sync/set up the MobileMe email and calendar on your iphone as well? I may be getting an iphone and would like to be able to access iDisk files with the app, but don't want any of the other MobileMe things set up/synced on the phone. TIA!

Don't know where you got 200MB from but here (with mobileme account) I have 18GB of storage available.

Is it not the "recents" tab that saves 200mb of the most recently viewed documents? The I disk app will store all 18GB in general terms.

Select your sync

Interesting question. I was going to say that you can select on iTunes what you want to sync with your iPhone, and I always thought of the MobileMe "cloud" as just a way to automatically sync your home calendar with your iPhone. But you have to set up MobileMe to sync things, so I think you can choose NOT to set up a calendar sync. I don't push my "me" email to my iphone, but have my real [ISP] email sent to my iPhone without using MobileMe.
