I can see the airpods pro firmware version, but how can I see my airpods pro CASE firmware?

So mine updated just fine (varied have new firmware, but I can't for the life of me find the setting to turn on head nod options. No pop-up appear like in some people's screenshot for me. I tried going into AirPods Pro 2 setting and not there I tried to go into accessibility setting under physical and motor and selected AirPods and AirPods Pro 2 and still not there. I am on the latest version of iOS 17. Does this function not come online until I update to the iOS18 when or am currently an iOS 18 beta tester?

It does NOT work. Been over an hour and nothing. Unenrolled beta for AirPods Pro and powercycled phone. Case open. Case closed. Zero difference.
It worked for me. Connected my 15 PM directly with usb-c to lightning with my AirPods Pro 2, opened the lid and it updated after 2min!!!

Remember this only works with 15 Series because it charges your AirPods !

Maybe it was luck, I don’t know, but it (my iPhone) charged my AirPods Pro 2

I don’t talk 💩!

You have to be on a call (or on a FaceTime), go into Control Centre, and then enable it at the top.

I still wonder what's the difference between the previous Voice Isolation (which has been available for quite a while now) and the "new" Voice Isolation that's coming with this new firmware.

If you noticed, that article you linked was published in March and I already had voice isolation before. It was just working very badly. Maybe it's just improved?

It’s now implemented into the AirPods Pro directly, not on the phone, that’s the difference

iPhone Pro Max. AirPod Pro 2. Worked separately not directly connected.

USB-C AirPods Pro 2 here.
My case firmware version is 70.87.0.
is the Lightning case firmware version different?

Thanks for the heads up, for those that are struggling with how to get it to update, this is what I just did after reading this article.

Unlocked iPhone, opened settings, opened the lid to the air pods pro 2, watched the air pods line pop up in settings. Tapped settings to see the current version, 6F8. Closed the lid, placed the air pods pro 2 case (with air pods in the case) on a wireless charger.

Went on with my morning, not sure how much time passed, I wasn't on my phone much but the battery is above 70%. Just came back to them, pulled them off the charger, popped the lid, checked the settings app for a version update, 7A294, good to go. Case version 70.88.0, I didn't pay attention to the previous case version.

Lets hope there were other bug updates as well, these APP2's have been so buggy, my OG APP's were so solid.

If you want to update quickly, connect your airpods pro with a cable to your iPhone, wait a moment and you will get the update
mine update ota before I could try that.

I tried the other tricks, didn't work, came back 15 minutes later and it'd updated. lol
