Well this is going to be unpopular. I enjoyed it. I assumed they were talking about the screen--hence the reference to the screen at the end. The ad doesn't end with, "Now available in a flood of colors." The ad ends with "Make Room for Color. Liquid Retina Display." I found it visually arresting and entertaining to watch.

Oh, I get it...because every other brand of smartphone has a B/W display and a color display XR would be more...colorful?

Confused...

I think you're thinking too hard about this. They're simply promoting the new XR and it's screen. The screen has taken some flack. It's still a Retina display with amazing color accuracy and true tone. There's a lot of amazing tech that's gone into it to be able to do a rounded bezel. Is it OLED? No. Is it still a beautiful screen? Yes.

Sorry, but it kinds of reminds me of the original Microsoft Surface ads with the dancing. I guess it is supposed to get your attention but it conveys nothing meaningful about the product.

Hey look at those colored lemmings.... guess it does not feel like 1984 :D

Meh, its an ad. The people that like to complain will find something to complain about with it.

I don't really understand why they used purple and orange as the phone isn't offered in these colors, but it's just an ad.
Did you know that advertising is important for actually convincing people to buy your product? Are you aware of this?

Apple needs to focus on dropping prices on all their 2018 devices. The XR may not even move the needle for those with an 8/8+.

I feel like iOS 13 and the 2019 iPhone prices are Apple’s makes/breaks.

Besides FaceID and the A series processors, Apple struggles to innovate and the software experience doesn’t change much from phone to phone.

Lower the price. Remove the camera bump. Reduce the handset size. (This advertisement, while nice, does nothing to sell iPhone.)

Serious question. These kind of commercials/films that utilize sooo many people; how do you cast that many people and why do we never hear about something like this being shot?

And are they ALL real people? Or are there some intricate camera effects going on? It just amazes me haha.
