I like the look of the 5c but I'm baffled by the cases. The design is unpleasant to me and why would I put two horribly clashing colors together as most of those combos are? iOS7 and the 5c sure as hell go well together though.

Well you felt that way you wouldn't have to buy the case. Easy fix. But I would imagine most consumers won't have those sentiments.

The colors were chosen because they are bright and fun. I guarantee the general consumer will never make a connection between the 5c and crocs....

A quick google suggests otherwise. None of these are particularly techie sites:

Where do I register my claim? ;)

umm... your post is equally useful...

If it stops people posting just to be first to reply or boost their post count, then I'd say it definitely is useful. Ill wager that first reply was made without even having watched the video.

Um, I think they might if they use Facebook. Seen it reposted many times already.

From a technical standpoint, the ad is fantastic.

But the brand now feels like a variation of Android/Google/Windows. I suppose this is the result of following trends rather then setting them.

Is Samsung going to sue? ;)

Love the ad! A very good day for Apple. Nothing but good comments regarding iOS 7 on Facebook and Twitter, increasing share price and great new ads with 2 new products launching on Friday!

Well done to Tim, Jony, Craigand everyone else at Apple!

This ad is bucking frilliant.

It's colorful, fun, and it sells something that Android and company can't even dream about much less touch.

Yes, I guess they can't touch an iPhone 5 either - which had a superior build quality and similar specs but is no longer on sale...

It's really interesting to think if Ive and his team really did go that deep into the integration of the shapes and colors of iOS7 and iPhone 5c or if the ad company found some connections that were almost a natural result of the design process. Either way, that was very reminiscent of the iPod ads of lore where people would scream "Who cares, it doesn't support Ogg Vorbis or WMVs. Its too weak with not enough features" ...And then the iPod took over the world.

Still going for an iPhone 5S though. This 4S is starting to look awfully old...
