Some random article talking about a iPhone 5c satire video is proof that people are going to immediately associate crocs with the 5c? Fantastic.

How about we wait, say, two weeks and see what the consumer response is? But I'm confident you'll be no where to be found at that time...
 
Wow. This is just so much better than the awful "emotional" ads and the horrible "ring ring ring" ad for the 5c. Reminds me of the old iPod commercials, actually. Great return to form for Apple.

iOS 7 rocks, by the way.

So your facebook friend sample is indicative of the broader market's reaction? Unless you're a pedophile and have a bunch of teenaged facebook friends I seriously doubt you're capturing the 5c's market demographic...
 
Am I the Only one...

Am I the only one that thinks the new ios 7 with the new colors combined with the phones.. are a little girly...all of it looks like there for a dam chic... none of the new iPhones look at all masculine to me. Not saying everyone....but I find a lot of dudes not liking any of those colors. Maybe space gray.... and i would not be caught dead with those poka dot cases.... good lord. As a guy not fond of silver or the gold colors on the 5s... Why cant they make a 5c in Black? or a all black 5s like my 5? Sorry but all these phones look like they were designed for girls and tweens. WTF? Gold? This sucks. And I am a huge Apple fan.

Apple has finally produced a really decent ad.

Many Apple ads have been really bad lately, but this ad, along with the new designed in California ads, are really awesome!

I agree. I don't really care for the colors that Apple has chosen for either of the new phones.

And iOS 7 looks like unicorn puke. I'm especially not a fan of the colors Apple chose for that.
 
I don't mind the polkadot / clashing-color cases - I think kids will love them - but the way they let the "hon" part of "iPhone" show through is really bad design, which is weird for a company that prides themselves so much on just that. They should have just filled in that one dot, or moved the word "iPhone" up so it was completely covered by the case, or figured out something all together different for the cases. It looks like they didn't think of it until after they had all the cases already made, and then they were like "oh, oops! Well I guess we have to go with it."

My guess is it will keep being the 5C (with 5s internals) until after the 6S comes out... then it will be the 6C with 6 internals and so on..

Can we elevate the level of conversation in this thread? Also, Apple is not killing it. They've never introduced a product into such a competitive market like this so we'll see how it fares against the Moto X and Galaxy lines. Take your blind bias elsewhere.

looks like a Target back to school commercial. Who is this ad aimed at, pre-teen girls?
 
if anything, this ad proves to me that apple is the only company out there that marries hardware and software together
