It is supposed to learn your behavior and charge full around when it will be most needed. I do wish there was something like a super battery saver option that never allows a charge over 80%. I would use that pretty much all the time to preserve the battery unless I was going to be traveling. 4.8 hours would be plenty for me most days
There is, its called optimized battery charging in settings

I know this but why is it only charging to 80% in the morning when I use them the same time everyday. They should be 100%. I would be understand if they charged at 80% after I use them as I might no use them for hours but in the mornings. Use them the same time all the time and still say 80%.

And I should not have to turn this feature of if it’s supposed to learn your habits.

No. Optimized battery setting allows a full charge but only at AI learned time of day. I’m saying it would be nice to have a setting to not allow it to fully charge ever unless I ask it to. Would allow the battery to stay 100% health much longer.

They have updated without connecting to a power source. Just using it.
The ANC seems to be worse, so angry for this. F***!!!!!!!!!

The watch measure an average of 20/22db noise reduction with ANC on.

Before update it was something more.
Classic Apple. Did it with APP1 aswell.

Perhaps the algorithm has not yet picked up and learned from your new (or existing) habits yet. Or if there is an error, just reset the AirPods Pro so the algorithm can re-learn.

just spoke with apple. Currently they don't know anything about the decrease of ANC. They can do a swap, nothing else. I think that a swap is useless.
What else do you want beyond a swap? There is no good evidence it’s a systematic problem, a swap is your best bet to fix the only likely problem which is a faulty pair.

I tested the ANC today and for me it’s the same as before the firmware update. Maybe even slightly better. Couldn’t hear a single word my colleagues said to me today at work. Great stuff! 👌🏽
Do you have an Apple Watch? Can you measure the Decibel reduction with the ANC? I see an average of 22db cutted. Before it was around 30.

It software related, a swap do not solve any kind of problem.

If it were software-related, everyone would be having the same experience as you. Don't you want to try another pair that might not have the problem? Lots of people describing no reduction in ANC at all, don't you want a pair like that?

Hi thanks. How do u reset that ? I used them yesterday at 5:20. Fully charged but today at the same time next day 82%. they dont seem to be learning anything

Ok what’s the outside level? You can find that in a small number scrolling down

I was on my loggia, the traffic was the source of noises. The difference is because of the number of cars i think.

36/44 is the db in your ears with ANC, we’d like to know the outside value to understand how many db the ANC cuts 😊

Ok if 64 is the external and 44 the internal there’s 20db cut, not so great. If the internal is 36 the cut is 28, definitely better.

Please give two valid number in/out, so we can compare old firmware (your) with new one.

Thanks man!!

First of all. You are welcome 😏

Kay.
It has’t done the update yet, but will check it out

Thank you so much. I’ll decide if swap my unit or not basis only your post upgrade feedback 😊
