Already played with it. I hate it.
I might not hate it if it actually worked. Like, ever.
Once you look at a CD (in my case) you can't look at your playlists, music, or anything else again without quitting and re-opening.
iTunes is nice and all, but my god is it bloated. I must use like 10% of its features.
First introduced in July, iTunes 12 includes an "elegant new design" that also includes support for several iOS 8/Yosemite features, including Family Sharing.
I just downloaded the update at over 24 MB per second. Note: MB, not Mb.
Am I the only one that finds the new UI without sidebar really inconvenient to actually use?
Did they bring back the autofill button? I couldn't seem to find it in iTunes 12 on OS X Yosemite Beta
I've sporadically had that when going between the music's Album view and the Match pane (while performing a Match update). Fortunately it's not too consistent in my case.Once you look at a CD (in my case) you can't look at your playlists, music, or anything else again without quitting and re-opening.
Anyone got a direct link?
Isn't that a problem with the current iTunes, too? Somehow, there is no Next button on the Info windows anymore in my iTunes. I don't know why anybody would want to mess with that part of the UI and purposefully "break" the old flow.By the way, that info window completely destroys my workflow. I used to be able to tab tab tab, copy, tab, paste, tab, type year, tab, paste etc. Now, half the fields don't appear until you close and re-open the info window. It's not an improvement, not at all
(And yes, I've reported this to Apple.)
Thank God it wasn't just me. I spent a half hour looking for that a couple of weeks ago.
besides yosemite, what other os xes will this be available for?
I ask because i have snow leopard.

No thank you, apple. Worst piece of software your company has written.
